I am having issues with registering my business name online. I have reserved, paid for registration and I had some queries to attend to as i have submitted all necessary docs. one that is surpassing all solutions is changing my proprietors address as the requested. I have change it everywhere possible on the portal but it is yet to reflect on my form, I have edited my profile. I call there customers care which hardly pick calls or always busy. I went to their office here in owerri and they directed me to a business center which told me the will charge #3000 to change it. any help from anyone will on how to fix this will be appreciated. thanks

I guess you mean update the form link they provide after giving a query? thanks but it is proprietors address. since it is sole proprietor, no option to change or edit it there, is like the system automatically use your sign up information to fill it up. I have edited my profile info but to no avail. you can only add, remove or edit proprietor info unless you add another proprietor to the default one they give you, which can't be altered from all I have observed.

Hello. Have you been able to solve this? Seems I'm facing the same problem right now.

I've been queried Up to 5 times, everything else is editable except the proprietor's address which is the contact details. The edit button isn't even there.

This used to be the solution but sadly it no longer works. I'm yet to also get a new way of fixing this address issue.

I have same issue... The previous solution no longer works. I think sending them a mail to cservice@cac.gov.ng should be the next option. Try it, I will also try it too with the hope that this works.

However, I hope someone who has resolved this querry issue recently would share how they did theirs though.

Here's how I resolved it. You can't change it yourself. CAC has to do it themselves.

I paid 500 naira to CAC via REMITA. I selected "changed in proprietor address".

After making payment, I sent a mail to CAC, and attached the receipt and my valid ID. I stated the new address in the mail.

They changed the address from their end.

This new site is problematic.

Its impossible to solve their query, becos you cant edit proprietors details, etc.

I received a query that I need to fill only one proprietor, but because I could not delete the other two, I did "back to sender". But they sent it back that I should resolve the last query!
We have been going back and forth since then o!
It is so frustrating because that is the only thing keeping me from my certificate and I really need this certificate urgently.

The country is messed up.

They intentionally created these hiccups to enable the various CAC agents make big bucks.

I just tire for Niaja.
