A young lady who was just called to Bar has taken to social media to appreciate her father who is a barrister. The young lawyer  narrated how her father supported and encouraged her during her stay in school as she joins him in the legal profession.

The father was in an elated mood as he and his daughter posed for pictures in their robes after her call to Bar ceremony in Abuja.

Read below what Instagram user (pharleelat) shared on the social media platform. 

“At a very tender age I watched my dad dress up and go to work while holding his socks and bib for him. This is my first role model! I remember when I joined Arts Class and everyone was shocked because they expected me to be in Sciences, my dad was like "are you sure you want to do Arts?" "Do you want to become a Lawyer because it's your genuine wish or because of me?"

And I said it was NOT because of him. Truth is I lied that day because I didn't want the long talks of why I shouldn't choose my career based on his own career, but then I figured he was setting me up with that question because THIS LAW SHIT IS HARD! but with God, 29 years after his own call to bar, his first child becomes a Lawyer too!!! 

Daddy, thank you for sending me to school, thank you for spending millions on me just to make me somebody in life, thank you for always being my CBN!,thank you for buying me the best books and reading materials (my head wan burst) Thank you for always calling at the most random moments to ask me for principles and questions that kept me on my toes.
