In the law of contract there must be an offer and an acceptance; these are elements of a valid contract. So for your contract of admission to be valid between you and an institution, you must have furnished some consideration by way of acceptance of the offer.

Did you read it at all?

Why offering admission and then later fail to grant admission after the applicant has paid with excuse of incomplete results blabla?

The truth is that acceptance fee is a means to extort student.I know of someone that has to forfeit her admission because she could not raise the acceptance fee.The girl is still at home as at now.We must all rise to condemn this extortion!!!

Wow, does this mean that Uniben actually has the highest acceptance fee among federal govt schools in Nigeria?

I paid #65,000 in 2012 ! Probably it must have gone higher by now

a letter of acceptance should only be the requirement for acceptance and not a pocket draining fee.
i paid 60k just to accept admission from uniben,a federal school for that matter

And in education it shouldn't demand huge cost. Why do we always feel money is the only way for acceptance in Nigeria?... Do we even get the best out of it?!.......

Being wondering why the need for acceptance fee since. What are they accepting?
Also, who brought the idea of acceptance fee sef?
It's not a good idea cuz many students have forfeited their admissions due to inability to pay the so called acceptance fee.
