mammanbawa:
Well sure
That was my first and last stunt
I use my SUV for such driving conditions
Good to know.

My point is this, if I belonged to the school that would only give the car a thrashing on the highway, I wouldn't have connected the dots between the problem and the flood...hence the expression hidden damage

Damage to the car is a minor thing, a whole family save the wife was wiped out by flood waters in Abuja a year or so ago

However, whatever and in whichever English people understand
Avoid flood at all costs
The damage it does to your car might not be noticed but it exists
From damaged tranny to rusting in worst cases hydrolock just like the OP experienced

Ouch, looking at this caused me physical pain. Water isn't compressible, so it's no surprise.

Two Engine replacements in space of how many months?Ol boy I respect you.All these expenses would have gotten you another 203 if you disposed the car ab initio at 700k.

yes you are right!but i can't buy the same connection i have with this same one,can i?everything is not about money you know?besides;
I am a business man.put your self in this;
Would you move out 2m+ naira from your funds in bulk to purchase a liability or would you rather remove circa 800k naira in STAGES to repair the old one which is still very much new?
That 2m capital will multiply in some few months to buy me a c300.now tell me,which is better?
