That's very fair, and more in line with what I'd expect from an engine of that size.

It's starting to look like most cars in Nigeria just run pretty badly. I get like 15mpg on my ES330 and it's been doing my head in.

The past few days kinda show that, that gas mileage isn't that bad? If a guy in an i4 Camry gets 13mpg, I'm happy to get 15 out of my 3.3L V6.

Is it the bad fuel?

Is anyone actually getting decent mpg out of a reasonably sized engine? Maybe like 20+ from a pre-2010 V6?

EDIT: I feel like a dunce, 2k fuel is about 13L, not 20L like I calculated. That's actually 20mpg, which is completely fine.
My initial question still stands, though. Anyone getting that out of a V6?

When my Air/fuel ratio sensor was bad, my highway mpg was bad but since i changed it and system went into closed loop, mpg went positive.

Bros we need to rub minds... But wait that's 25MPG US highway!! Oga we dey together jawe.. My estimate was purely city driving all under 40MPH!!

26MPG actually. The way you drive have a huge impact on MPG. For me anything from 24 is not bad considering the size of our Engine.
Power comes with a price.
Like Americans will say "There is no replacement for Displacement.

I tell you, when it roars no one needs to tell you that the king is taking charge.
Very rugged bullet proof Engine.
A parts seller once told me that he hardly sell the Engine cos of low patronage..this has driven the price down cos demand is very low.

You consume more gas at lower speeds and stop and go traffic so makes sense
