Am I the only person wondering why WW2 veterans are buried on Nigerian soil? As far as I’m concerned, no battle took place in Nigeria or on our side of the Atlantic. So ayam not understanding

Your state, Akwa Ibom is the richest state in Nigeria in term of allocation of oil revenue from federation account.
No indigene of Akwa ibom is supposed to be suffering considering the amount of money accruing to the state every Month. The state is richer than some west African countries. Unfortunately, like the rest states of the country, Akwa ibom is suffering from wicked and selfish leaders.

We were a British colony at that time.

Some units were made entirely of Nigerians/Ghanaian and commanded by British officers.

Such units saw actions mainly at the Burma front (in thick Jungles)
