We were a British colony at that time.

Some units were made entirely of Nigerians/Ghanaian and commanded by British officers.

Such units saw actions mainly at the Burma front (in thick Jungles)

Hence the reason. Hope you understand now?

So they imported all the bodies from far away Burma just to bury them in lagos?

How do they bury fallen US soldiers that died in foreign wars like Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Germany etc

Ask yourself that question?

Unku Teacher, they’re buried on the battlefield, with their unit or their homestead. Not in colonial extensions. Comprende?

Do you know that Lagos was a colony home to many English citizens that called Lagos home.

Do you know some British children were also born in Lagos

To end this needless argument, these brave fallen were British commanders of the west African frontier force that comprised of soldiers from west African colonies. I don't see anything bad in their been buried there. Comprende?
