Please can anyone gimme a breakdown of how to send passports to Accra using DHL. I live in Portharcort. Thank you

I used ups not dhl but I guess it's the same thing.

I put all required in an envelope (passports, vfs payment, intl passport, imm forms etc)..I downloaded the consent form from the vfs site and gave ups consent to pick up on my behalf.
Paid to n fro courier fees to Lagos and submitted.

When the passport came back from Accra, ups picked it up and delivered it to my house .

Hi, all the necessary information that you and your wife need can be found at this link, https://www.nairaland.com/4843199/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled

If you diligently read and study the process, you don't need any agent. All the best.

Thanks so much for your reply. I was able to book my ticket. And for anyone trying to book Ethiopian air, its cheaper on their app. Cheers
Newmum0615:
On their website, go to the tab at the top right of the page labelled 'Services', click on Help & Contact, then under that, you'll see 'Ethiopian Worldwide Contacts' Choose Nigeria and you'll see the account numbers and their email addresses. Ensure you use your booking reference in the narration as well as your name if the space permits more characters. They will send you your ticket shortly. If you don't get it within a few hours, send a mail to the second email (lossup...) with your details and your ticket will be issued immediately.

As a lawyer in Nigeria who wants to go into HR in Canada, will I do some bridging courses there or do I have to get a degree there? Are some online courses I can take while in Nigeria to make it faster instead of waiting till I get there?

As you will be crossing over into a new career bridging programs might not be a fit for you. Most HR entry job postings require that you have at least a diploma in Human Resources Management. I would advice that you do the same too as the workplace environment is very different (unionized and non-unionized) when compared to Nigeria. If you are looking to take a course before you arrive in Canada, this would be to your advantage as you will be job ready by the time you land in Canada. There are a variety of universities and colleges you can apply to, ashton college offers both online and in-class Human Resources Programs https://www.ashtoncollege.ca/programs/human-resources-management/ . I hope this helps, best wishes.

Please has any landed senior had a situation where they got mail from IRCC, months after landing and settling down, that the passport of one of their dependant or spouse did not meet PR card specification and should retake and send one that meets specification within 30days or risk PR application being cancelled that particular family member. Please information is needed urgently. Thanks

It was alright. The major outage only lasted for a couple of hours and lasted minutes in some other areas. When such happens in winter and the house starts getting cold, people usually leave their homes and check themselves into the nearest mall. Most malls or colleges/uni in towns will have a back up generator.

Directly from ph to Accra? No, I dont think so.

It goes through vfs Office( Lagos or Abuja) to Accra.
You dont need to travel to either ,you can send to any of the offices (Lagos or Abuja)via a courier of your choice.

And it's way cheaper than traveling down to submit in person.
I paid 10,600 for to and fro to Lagos.
You can either pick it up from their office or they can deliver it to your provided address when it comes back.
Because it is a sensitive document they won't drop it with anyone except you.
