You are entitled to free medical care, free education for your child till high school and other juicy things which is unthinkable in your country yet you say the best jobs are not easy to get. Abeg remain for your country. Enjor bro 1 Like |

Xisnin: Saudi Arabia does not depend on natural resources only. The Americans destroyed Libya or the country could have been the center of destination in Africa by now so u mean Nigeria with large oil is better than some countries without oil |

omu4364:Saudi is totally dependent on oil. It will just be another Arab country where blacks go to become servants and slaves, nothing special. [/quote] Yes, that is the plain truth. However, this was my post with regard to Libya: every country with large oil and small population 1 Like |

djon78:How did you arrive at the bold? Do not compare Libya with sub-saharan Africa countries, compare it with its fellow Arabs with large oil reserve and small population and you will see how poorly managed Libya was. This is irrelevant. Even with the reserve money, Gadaffi is all talk no action. Business is not courting even if some people think so. India does not need to court Nigeria before buying our crude. Gadaffi either has to sell oil or starve. You are being deceived, LSE does not sell doctorates. Yes, he will be the best leader for daft Africans who can't think of anything outside their next meal and sex. For smart Africans, they understand that entertainment and sustainable achievement are quite different. Now I understand your love for Gadaffi. You also love Abacha, the murderer who touched poor men's life by stashing billions in Swiss bank accounts. Why don't you lead the way by stopping the use of colonialist technology, wearing their clothes or eating their food? China is not US friend, yet it is the largest importer of US Agricultural products. Putin hates Europe, yet he sells them gas and also imports heavy equipment from there. These are countries interested in development not noise making. The reason for bad governance in Africa is because there are too many suckers who are easily fooled with emotional arguments. 4 Likes |

djon78:This is the example of the entitlement mentality I am talking about. Apparently, your sister thought she will get a $200,000 job beacuse of that fact that she has a rare skill or what. Does this dispute the fact that there are some people that got life changing jobs after relocation? See, that something worked for you does not mean it will work for another person. Country give you PR, make e still give you the best jobs easily. Life na per head ooo. Safe. 2 Likes |

Xisnin:Mr Man, you are a novice. If you don't read beyond the usual #mama corner you don't come out to disgrace yourself in a forum like this. Ok, let me lecture you; When Gaddafi was in power, there was no slave trade of Black Africans in Libya. As a matter of fact Gaddafi gave financial aid to Black African nations and almost single handedly funded the fight against White minority rule in the then Rhodesia (renamed Zimbabwe) and against apartheid in South Africa. Even Mandela confirmed it openly in America. This is to tell you how rich Libya was as at that time....even same can be said about some African countries but Europe and America didn't make them to see. His transcript: "I will not go into exile to any foreign country. I was born here in Libya, and I will die here. This country was a dessert, and I turned it into a forest, where everything can grow. No one Love this land more more than its citizens. If Europe and America tells you that they love you, be careful. They love the wealth of your land. The oil and not the people. They are helping you to fight against me but, it will be more wise for you to fight against them because they are fighting against your future and progress. My message to you the people of Libya is, they are helping you to kill me but you will pay the price because you will suffer. And my message to you America and Europe is, you will kill me, but be ready to fight a never ending TERRORISM. Before you realise your ignorance, terrorists will be hitting you at your doorstep." GADDAFI once told the Nigerian and British governments to divide Nigeria into two, so that the Hausa/Fulani (Moslems), Yoruba (Christians) and Biafrans/Igbo, can live as neighbouring countries. Probably, if that had been done we wouldn't be in this chaos we are in right now. We all know that, right? Having said that let me now tell you the real reasons why he was killed: 1. There is no electricity bill in Libya, electricity is free for all its citizens. 2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens are at a 0% interest by law. 3. Home is considered a human right in Libya. Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. 4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinars (US$50,000) from the government to buy their first apartment. 5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi, only 25% of Libyans were literates. Today, the figure stands at 83%. 6. Libyans taking up farming as a career, they received farm land, a farming house, equipment, seeds and livestock to kick- start their farms – all for free. 7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they needed in Libya, the government funded them to go abroad for it. 8. In Gaddafi's Libya, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price. 9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter. 10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally. 11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation, the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found. 12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens. 13. A mother who gave birth to a child under Gaddafi, received US $5,000 as child benefit upfront. 14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15 15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree. 16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man- Made River Project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country. If this is called "Dictatorship", I wonder what type of leadership Democrats would provide...and with our democracy, majority of Nigerians are still languishing in poverty. Cheers! 7 Likes 1 Share |

Xisnin: You are the ignorant one here. I'm not even comparing Saudi Arabia to Libya, I'm just pointing the hypocrisy of US and her allies. When the Libya uprising started, the Americans were busy looking for way to invade Libya, and when it was confirmed that Gaddafi killed some "Innocent" Civilians, the Americans came in with several bombardment, they went as far as arming the rebels, they even blackmailed Libya's only ally "Russia", Now after they have successfully completed their objective, they left the country, without even ensuring peace and stability. Now back to Saudi. We all know about the current ongoing war in Yemen, Saudi have being killing Innocent civilians in Yemen, they sponsored total blockage, they have being bombing several civilian outlets (Hospital, school, etc), and when UN confronted them they were busy giving silly excuses, now these So called America and her Allies who invaded Libya because Gaddafi killed some civilians are still the ones supporting Saudi Arabia. Yemen can burn to ashes for all they care, it's none of their business! |
