So the BMC wants to make it seem as if the Buhari government awarded and started the dualization of the Lokoja -Benin Road. Well here are some links to show the so called APC project was infact a project awarded by the then Goodluck government and was ongoing until it was replaced by the Buharis APC government.
This is for the gullibles trying to take credit for an already ongoing project. Stop campaignong with ongoing projects you met on ground, this project was awarded since in 2012, and a considerable amount of work have been done already, I personally counted over small bridges and being constructed along the said as far back as 2013.
We know back in 2014, the APC brainwashed many Nigerians into believing nothing was happening. Well here are some of the facts we showed you guys back then. Benin-Lokoja road project was ongoing, those who travel along the said road knows pretty much who started it.

FG approves N65.2bn for Lokoja-Benin Road, N13.9bn for Bayelsa Airport
ON November 21, 2012 7:54 PM.

Abuja – The Federal Government on Wednesday approved N65.2 billion for the construction of the four sections of the Lokoja-Okene-Benin Road.
The Minister of Works, Mr Mike Onolememen, made this known while briefing State House correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The meeting was presided over by Vice President Namadi Sambo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Onolememen said the four sections of the road are; Lokoja-Okene, Okene-Auchi, Auchi-Ehor and Ehor-Benin City and each section would gulp N11.6 billion.
He said that approval was given by the council for the augmentation of the project cost of the Kano-Maiduguri expressway, which was awarded in 2006, from N172 billion to N285 billion.
He noted that the rehabilitation of the section two of the Calabar-Ugep-Ogoja-Katsina-Ala Road, was also augmented.
The minister said that four contracts for the construction of federal roads and bridges in Taraba, Niger and Kano states were also approved.
Also briefing the correspondents, the Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku, said the council approved N13.9 billion for the execution of some projects at Yenagoa International Airport.
He said the projects were the construction of an International Terminal Building at the Airport, including Control Tower and Power House, with a completion period of 24 months.
According to him, the International Terminal Building is similar to the one earlier awarded for the construction of Port Harcourt International Airport.
“The approval of the International Terminal for Bayelsa followed a memorandum by the Aviation Minister, Princess Stella Oduah, toward achieving the goals of the Federal Government’s agenda in the aviation sector of the economy,” he added.
Maku said that as part of its efforts toward bringing the nation’s aviation industry to a world class level, the Federal Government had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of the Peoples Republic of China.
The MoU was for the construction of new International Terminal Buildings at the five international airports and the perishable cargo terminals at Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt, Enugu and Asaba airports.
The minister added that part of the funds for the projects would be provided by the government of China.
He said the council also approved the establishment of a Council on Niger Delta for the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.
Maku said the council would check duplication of roles and provide a forum for sharing ideas among agencies involved in policies, projects and programmes formulation and implementation in the region. (NAN)

If not that you atiku zombies don't have any sense, did your PDP plan on continuing this project even if they had won? Where would the money have come from when they budgeted little or nothing for the min of works in their last budget of 2015 due to the worsening economic situation according to their own mouth?

bigoted clown, You lie too much. GEJ provided ONLY N10B for a project that needed N130B and works had stopped before he left office.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/fg-far-spent-n10bn-2nd-niger-bridge-jonathan/

Tell us how much GEJ budgeted for the bridge in his 2015 budget that had only N11B for a works ministry that had contracts of N2T pending?

If the PDP awarded the contract, who stalled it? They got broke and couldn’t afford to execute? Or they broke the coffers and stole whatever was there to spend on infrastructure?

Keep defending a rich administration that stole your commonwealth and attacking one that is moving with much less cash.

The guy is even bold enough to say that PDP awarded the contract in 2012. so for 3 good years nothing was done after awarding it.. I have never seen a set of people so foolish in my life before. it's true common sense is no longer common.

My friend shut up and be wise! Awarded the contract and what was done? Shared the money among your cronies? I really feel ashamed seeing people like you come online to spill trash about pdp initiating contracts. Contracts they never intend to execute? pdp literally collects money without commensurate work been done! C'mon Nigerians are wiser now. Never again shall we allow that level of Brigandage on our collective wealth. Shame on you
