The Consensus candidate of Nigeria Opposition parties and PDP Presidential Candidate Atiku Abubakar met with a coalition of opposition political parties in Abuja earlier today.

PoliticsNGR learned that the meeting which started by 11am on Friday morning at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja had Chairmen of over 43 Political Parties present and over 15 Presidential Candidates in attendance.

Also in attendance was the Senate President and DG of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Dr. Bukola Saraki, Chairman of the CUPP, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Chief Tom Ikimi, Alhaji Kawu Baraje, Sen.Dino Melaye, Barr. Tanimu Turaki, former Presidential aspirant and other notable leaders.

Atiku reached an agreement with the opposition parties to do the following in exchange for their support;

1. Run an all-inclusive government of national unity.

2. Ensure that all Parties in the coalition will be treated fairly before, during and after the election

3. Ensure that all the Parties in the coalition shall work hard for the success of the Atiku project

4. Organize a grand public declaration and presentation of the presidential candidate to formalise the candidate's endorsement by the CUPP as soon as possible. Prince Oyinlola has been assigned to arrange that by Alhaji Abubakar.

Is Oby Ezekwesili among them? Is Sowore among them? Is Moghalu among them? Is Olawepo Hashim among them? Is Donald Duke among them?

INEC must guard against this type of scam by making it more rigorous to register and maintain political parties

There should also be a point system before parties are allowed to participate in governors and president election

So these guys are presidential candidates?

Can we not just waste money? Let us just declare Atiku President already!

Atiku should buy them all already to prevent any unnecessary waste of budget by inec.

What are the names of these political parties and do they have structures on ground?

Or they are just political parties on paper willing to cash out at the slightest opportunity.

Those that seems to have structures aside the major parties are Sowore, Moghalu, Duke, Ezekwesili, Hashim, Durotoye
