The Federal Executive Council has approved the 2019 Budget for Presentation to the National Assembly, PoliticsNGR has learned.

This development is coming after President Muhammadu Buhari presided over a special FEC session on the budget earlier today in Abuja.

Minister for Budget and National planning, Udoma Udoma made this known to journalists at the State house after the meeting.

According to him, the next phase is to work with the National Assembly to pick a date for the presentation of the estimates.

An N8.6trillion budget is being proposed for next year.

Its funny when you people display crass ignorance for selfish reasons, I am not holding brief for Saraki, but was it Saraki that delayed the budget?
The Presidency submitted the 2018 budget to NASS, and the constitution requires every Minister and head of Parastatals to defend the budget they submitted, and all of them were backing out on the budget defence.
It is on record that in one of the FEC meetings PMB was furious with his ministers and said anyone who is yet to defend his budget in the NASS should go and do so immediately.
Were u expecting the NASS to just pass anything sent to them?
If they like let them not come and defend the budget they submitted on time and be looking for whom to blame as this administration is known for.
