If there was anything that made Nigerians to massively vote Buhari in 2015, it's Change and the promises to crush Boko haram in six months and name their sponsors, return a litre of fuel to N45, fix the refineries in six weeks, pay every graduate 500k, return one dollar to one naira etc. Unfortunately, Nigerians bought a goat because of the cry not knowing a sick goat cries the loudest. Today the bitter realities stare bizarrely on our faces. The cost of living has soared, people lose their jobs, fulani herdsmen kill unchecked, cost of foods skyrocks, our schools are on strike and my Yoruba brothers still say buhari has done well. If during "change" a litre of fuel is sold for N145, how much will it be sold in the next level? I go to the so-called far North very often and interact with the people, they are sad, unsafe, bitter, hungry, disappointed in Buhari but some people cannot muster courage to tell Buhari this truth. Even the street urchins that made "sai baba" very loud in 2015 are angry. No politician will go to the North or any part of Nigeria without receiving mammoth crowd because hunger, anti-people policies, privation and harship have forced them to collect anything from anybody. People with dignity don't come to receive a pittance from politicians. It's wickedness to create hunger and hardship and begin to tempt people with insignificant 10000 during campaign. I would advise my Yoruba media praise-singers to better say how their people see Buhari's government instead of lying about far North they have never been.

Sadly personal interests, tribal hatred and greed won't let this fly. Politicians are too ok with the status quo, with Buhari being an ineffective president because it suites their selfish ambitions. How else can you explain why the president can't sack erring cabinet members or those who just aren't performing? From the military down to several parastatals there's been records of gross incompetence with serious coverups yet our so called "New sheriff in town" will form not knowing. In cases like that of boko haram he'll say we the masses should pray..wtf!

The truth is Atiku isn't the best candidate but we all know no other candidate can march APC right now. Hence Atiku is the best chance we have to unseat this "fraud of integrity" that's why he's gaining mass approval.

Nigerians should send a strong message to these politicians that it isn't business as usual a first term isn't a sure pass for a second term. You have to earn it by performance. If not we show you the way out. Fin!

Indeed. For all their touted intelligence and bravery, their conduct today is only indicative of cowardice and dumbness. Why not simply meet others at the poll instead of this disgraceful and desperate perambulation of trying to tell Yorubas what to do and think?

I just smell fear hovering over them because their greatest nightmare, which they won't confess to, is that a Buhari 2019 win brings a Yoruba Presidency closer.

This will certainly cause a lot of suicides in the SE in 2023 as the Igbos will now have a Yoruba President their ohamumudike (Kanu) told them to kill. Even their god Shuku-shuku okuku obioma will weep for this hateful lot who ranted insultingly for years to now be grovelling at the final hour.

After completely eradicating PDP from every government house in SW and taking leadership of every House of Assembly in Yorubaland and sitting APC there, how else can our position for Buhari be told?

Please educate us.
