Information reaching the PoliticsNGR newsdesk on Saturday evening reveals that the Iyalode of Ibadan, Alhaja Aminat Abiodun, is dead.

The Iyalode died in the early hours of today, according to sources at her Family compound in Idi-Arere, Ibadan.

She was the representative of women in the Olubadan-in-council which has 11 members. She ascended the position in August, 2007 and was installed on October 19th, 2007. 

She will buried according to Muslim rights on Sunday.
