Yes its true. One was called Mohamed the other we used to call him khalifa..Nice guys though. Mohamed went back to Nigeria after elections (his family is a military one an they got connection with Buhari administration. So the BBC opened their biggest Bureau (studios) outside London (their home base) in Nairobi in their biggest expansion since the 1940s (1 billion Kshs worth).

kazikazi, hope this is not what you whined that Kenyans write bad news about you in international media. We just happen to have an overflowing pool of the best trained journalists in the continent who produce real world class content. BBC simply tapped into this glaring potential. Even Naija with their insane pop cant match our journalistic skills. BBC did open a similar bureau in Lagos recently but they decided it was only good enough for Nigerians (Igbo, Yoruba and pidgin) but for the Nairobi Studio they decided it had to be good enough for the planet, better than everywhere else.
