What I've so far read here is really scary... I've always knew right from the start that these so called pastors are evil from day one. In fact I now look at every person that introduces himself to me as a pastor with suspicion. I'd rather relate with an criminal freely than relate with any so called pastor

Ubenedictus:
Google shroud of Turin

the shroud of turin appears to be fake
drawings-paintings made from the shroud, show supposed Jesus having long hair to His shoulders

1Co 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

paul would not have wrote that if Jesus had long hair

some say, but Jesus was a nazarite, who had long hair, sampson was one, however Jesus was not a nazarite, because he drank wine and approached the dead, which the nazarites were forbidden by their law to do, Jesus can be called a nazarite only because he was from nazareth

There are two kinds of people, religious and rational people. While rational people think everything through and are not easily misled, religious people stop thinking whenever God, their pastor or church is mentioned. These are the class of people who will sleep with one leg raised if their pastor asks them to. If their pastor tells them the tyres of cars are not black but are white, they believe at once and you dare not tell them otherwise. They choose church doctrine and beliefs over what is written in the Bible.
I have come to respect all these groups of people after all, Nitchzie once said " those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who couldn't hear the music " They have got things working for them and some of them are genuinely righteous.
The problem of rational people is that they usually end up as atheists. The issue of certain things not adding up in the Bible is a causing factor for this. To make matters worse, a lot of Pentecostals now interprete the Bible in ways that suits them in the name of Rhema. This is enough to push a rational person to the point of I can't take it no more. Whatever it is, never throw away the baby with the bath water. I am a Christian, I believe in the holy spirit, I recently quit Pentecostal churches because I couldn't take it anymore. Of course most of these churches are generous and do lots of charities. These are some of the issues I have with Pentecostal churches

1. Righteousness is no longer the focus. Church growth is measured by how large the congregation is.
2. Evangelism no longer seeks to win souls for Christ. Rather, the aim now is to win members to my church. Why else will I belong to a church and someone will want me to leave and join his?

Note that I'm not against anyone's beliefs but me, I no do again.

First I will say I agree with you on some of these points on Pentecostal churches ( I am Pentecostal by the way)
However I believe every church has its issues, for example why is there so much focus on Mary (mother of Jesus) in the Catholic church ? And I know you will tell me the focus isn't on her but I beg to differ.

Have you been to some Catholic parishes in the east where people go to pray and bow down before a statue of Mary and carry an even smaller statue in their pockets as talisman for protection ?

Don't you think if it would have aided your prayers in any way the bible( or some of the apostles in it ) would have recommended praying to her ?

And I don't even want to go into the doctrine of Assumption as it is not written anywhere in scripture. I know not all events are in the bible but I believe an event of such magnitude would have been covered, after all people not so close to Christ with similar events such as Enoch and Elijah were recorded.

So its apparent the Blessed Mary has been deified in the church.

Several times in scripture Jesus says to come unto him freely he will answer, why the do christians feel they have to go ask His Mum to speak on their behalf?

All churches have issues, the conclusion is find a church that brings you closer to God (ie where the undiluted word is preached) and has less of the negative stuff.

Have anyone of one you ever wondered, the reason why the church of nowadays are struggling to meet up with the early church is because the events that took place then was doctored.

What do I mean? That the negative part was removed and the positive aspect was exxagerrated. For instance, if I'm going to write a memoir, you don't expect me to write something that will make others to be judgemental of me.

So we are placing today's church pari passu an utopian church.

2. Evangelism no longer seeks to win souls for Christ. Rather, the aim now is to win members to my church. Why else will I belong to a church and someone will want me to leave and join his?

3. Heaven is no longer the focus. It is always money money money and how to make it on earth. Dangote, Bill Gates etc. are names that always come up in sermons. Catholics don't preach prosperity yet they have the richest people.

4. Tithes and tithing and tithers. They threaten you with wretchedness and misery if you don't pay tithe. They misinform people about the tithe. And begin to bring up some evasive maneuvers when you try to counter them with facts.

5. Why the hell do they have their pictures on the logo of their churches?
Answer is because it is their church. The church belongs to him and his family and there's a 70% chance he is grooming his son to take over.

6. This one annoys me so much. Testimonies are tailored to glorify the ministry and the pastor. If your testimony is not linked to a declaration that was made by the pastor, the fact that you donated something or "since I joined this commission ". Forget it. Nobody will allow you to share it.

7. Worship the pastor. If you say anything bad about him, you will be cursed. If he says anything, don't argue with him, he is a prophet being directed by God. Just obey!
Have you ever tried asking a critical question in a meeting. They will leave the question and make you feel like a devil for asking.

8. Christianity means followers of Christ. Jesus is supposed to be our mentor not Elijah who called down fire to burn other prophets or Elisha who called up beasts to devour little children. Jesus will never never do that. But for the Pentecostals, Jesus is too gentle to emulate. They rather go with the God of Judaism who helps them fight battles.

9. One thing you are constantly reminded of in Pentecostal churches is witches and wizards, ancestral curses, family alters, etc. They will bind them today you will shout Amen, they will cast them next week you will shout amen. Dem no dey finish?
Na wao!
What a way to keep someone perpetually in fear.

10. And then enemies. Everyone now has enemies. They pray for the death of their enemies whenever they go to church. And before I forget, they collectively hate TB Joshua. I don't know why.

Note that I'm not against anyone's beliefs but me, I no do again.
Op bbyby01 na where you come from? This is very very good I must let you know.

See ehn, don't worry about this savorless church because the church exactly as it was in the beginning with Peter, John and the likes is coming back soon with full force. And the gates of hell would not be able to prevail against it.

From your write up it seems you have the credentials to be a part of it, so just keep sharpening your spiritual tools meanwhile, so that when the time comes Satan's works would feel the full effect of it.

I disagree with this though, Yes there maybe more emhapsis on the positives for example if you read though most of Pauls letters you will find he was writing to several chruches based on some negetive things he had heard concerning them like sexual promiscuity, giving alms to be praised by men, people chosing to follow one appostle rather than the other. Do these things sound familiar? He even accused Peter of having double standards for Jew and Gentiles. So those churches had issues too but I believe Christains of that era were more sincere with themselves.
