Even if you have decided not to listen to people quoting various scriptures in the bible supporting tithing & giving both in old & new testament, Google is your friend, Bro! Google will give you many scriptures on it. When we refuse to listen to God or his word, God can use technology to teach us!

Though im not a religious folk but let me take a story from your bible

There's something everyone needs to know, humans are bias by default. That's the reason I don't argue with people. Example,those who are benefiting from Buhari's govt. will say he is the best even when millions of Nigerians are wailing.

Mind you I'm not against tithing but don't cajole or threaten me to give.
