Let me go straight to the point. I work online fulltime and earn a decent living, I have 3 gigs on Fiverr. One of which I build and fix WordPress websites. I met this top buyer client (location USA) back in October, ever since I have done 3 websites for her and she's very happy with my work. I'm very good at what I do and have no issue getting orders almost every day. Two blogs and one giveaway site. She lives in the USA and this giveaway is restricted to the USA only. I had to make the restrictions for her and grew to trust this client even more over time. On 7th of November, she contacted me asking if I could update her blog with regular posts every day, I said Yes! She told me she needed 3 blog posts daily, and told me the sites to get this posts from, No plagiarism! She has an account with Copyscape and you can't easily beat that. We settled at $7 daily for the posts, she asked me how I wanted the payment, daily weekly or monthly, I told her I prefer she pays after a certain amount of posts have been made, we agreed she will pay after 22 blog posts since I will be posting 90 in a month. Then the work began.

At first, I tried it myself and after spending about 4 hours she rejected the posts for plagiarism! She gave me her account details with Copyscape and I checked and for real the only way to beat Copyscape is to completely rewrite the article word to word. I couldn't do it so I found someone who could, I paid half in advance, he is an excellent writer and my client was very happy with the posts. After 22 posts I reminded her the deal and she told me she will pay soon sad I continued to pay the writer regardless. I contacted her again but she pleaded with me and gave me one more website to build for her and paid in full. I was worried but decided to be patient for now, the day before yesterday was exactly 30 days and 90 articles posted in her blog. I asked the writer to stop for now until I get paid by my client, I contacted her and she didn't respond. This morning I wanted to contact her again but I couldn't type anything, I noticed this message from Fiverr:

"[Client name] can no longer be contacted. This will not affect your response rate."

Googled around and it looks like my client reported me as spam and blocked me. Her account is still online (status sometimes green) but I can no longer contact her. I noticed I still have access to the websites I built for her ( She hasn't changed her password yet). At this point, she owes me $210 (71k) and thought the best way to avoid paying for the work is to block me!

I still have about 3 orders in que but this one just weak me. Please has anyone been in this situation before? How best do I go about it, please? Already had plans for the money this Christmas. sad

What happened to Pay As You Post?

Well, she played a fast one on you. If you still have access to the websites/blogs you created for her, why not change the password, I'm sure that will get her back on her knees. If it doesn't work, then take it as a price to pay to learn how to transact online.

I suggest you change the passwords too.
That would force a response from her.
Its the sane thing to to.

Initially I suggested this, she was okay with it but later contacted me reminding me of Fiverr transaction charges on her end, she said she will be paying more than $7 and she's not cool with it.

She will just reset the password from her email, she uses cloudways and I don't have access to it, that's the only way I can get hold of the entire website files.

Can you alter the site.
Remove the contents?
Cut them out and save the articles.
The point is to catch her attention.
Send a mail to her after doing this for her to check it.

Go ahead and change the password even if she can reset it. But before that, alter all your posts. And finally send her an email and explain to her what u went through doing this job for her and also how u olsn to spend the money. I believe whites have small conscience than our Nigeria people. I bet she will contact u if u can do everything i just said

Nope, do the deed then mail her .
You'll resolve the issue within the hour.
Explain that you really trusted her and never expected such.

@ Toyflare, how do i start to make money on fiverr as i have registered and never earned a dime from Fiverr. I would appreciate your response.

I will advise you to forget this and focus on future. If you do anything stupid to her site, she will report you to Fiverr and Fiverr are stupid enough not to listen to your side and your account will be disabled forever.

Moreso, Fiverr advise you collect money upfront, so you blame yourself for trusting her.

Am talking from experience, I just got blocked on Fiverr with similar issue, the account that made me #300k minimum a month got disabled because if a stupid buyer.

Head to my advice bro and focus on future work.

Do not do anything stupid. Count your losses and move ahead. In business , we suffer losses.

You need to be very good at what you do, you start small. Have a well written profile and a good portfolio, use the buyer request often and show them proof of your works. With time you will get your first client, do everything possible to make this a great experience and once you have a good review more clients will follow. But you need to be patient and persistent.

Someone already suggested what's on my mind. I guess its better to let go than have your account banned. However, don't fail to update us with whatever you choose to do and the results thereof.

I'm curious.

would keep tabs on this post. Because I'm thinking of joining fiverr next year.
