God oh.... Guys am confused oh... am at DHL office in Abuja, I have both the notarized and d non-notarized copy of my certificate, should I just attache both of them making it a total of six documents Or will I be penalized for that??

I don't think you would be Penalised for that. You can send both. They'll probably take d ones they need and trash d rest

I didn't notarize mine or my husband's. Also had to resend my husband's certificate twice and i didn't notarize either.

Alright. Guess I was wrong then. Though I sent a notarised copy and had no issues. It's a good thing it's been cleared up for the benefit of others starting d process.

I think some of these things are updated from time to time. So it's best to just follow the instructions one was given as at the time of processing.

When I did mine last year, the certificate had to be notarized along the international passport and the other form.

Hmm, I can't really remember how long it took for d status to change, probably a couple of days. I think you just have to be patient I'm sure it will change soon.

It seems so cos MCC verifies ones degree through ECFMG and no other way, even if it was ur school that certified it. I believe it still has to go through the whole source verification process.

Hmm, though my school does verification by email so I can't really tell the address via post/courier but since MCC does verification via ECFMG, my guess is that the address given to ur school was that of ECFMG which is in PHILADELPHIA, PA, US.

Yeah. Same when I did mine.
The verified document is first sent to ECFMG which I guess is in the US, before it's sent back to MCC.

Yes I used just my MBBS degree.

I started my ECA sometimes last week and my documents have been scanned and uploaded to my dashboard.

However, the stamps/seals on the passport copy and certified identification form were marked with a orange-red ink of some sort.

Please for those who have gone past this stage, is this normal? I don't want to give myself unnecessary BP.

Lol, don't give urself BP for nothing. Mine was also marked. No biggie, it's normal.
