I thought they said he wasn't invited.
Re: PDP Regrets Absence Of Atiku At Peace Accord Ceremony by 34webers(m):
Atiku pigs - Atiku was absent because of electoral bill

Atiku - I was not invited.

Peace Committee - Atiku is a liar, we invited you, Secondus is our witness.

Pdpigz - There was communication error.

Me - Atiku refused to attend for the reason stated below because of the aggressiveness of his support base and signing such accord is just like committing suicide. That man that stood as a surety for kanu is still struggling not to go to jail.

This accord was for all political parties to sign to be of goodwill and good behaviour during elections.

Okoyeeboz:
Stupid liars

Atiku and his monkeys lied that he wasn't invited. When Bishop Kukah said that Atiku was invited, those flatheaded piglets who wake up their parents with flying kicks insulted the Bishop.

Gen. Abdulsalam reiterated that Atiku was invited and even showed the acknowledgement by Uche Secondus and they kept quiet.

Now, PDP is blaming communication error.

Atiku is a liar and a thief.
Scanty people!

The initial lie that he wasn’t invited did not fly so, they have to come up with another communication gap excuse. Funny enough, this is the same party that appointed eight presidential campaign spokesmen but they couldn’t communicate a simple invitation to their presidential candidates. PDP should stop hiding behind one finger, Atiku refused deliberately to attend the signing of the peace accord because he’s not interested in losing gallantly. Security agencies should start preparing for the eventuality of Atiku causing chaos and confusion after losing the election next year.

They Should Have Stated Boldly On The Invitation Letter To Atiku, That, "American Representatives Won't Be Attending"

That Was What Scared Atiku.

Very professional by pdp, i really admire their courage to apologize and accept mistakes. Unlike one daura group that could blame their wives moenpause on the previous administration.

People can't be reasonable for once, haven't someone sent for you before but the person that received the message forgot to transmit it to you.
The signing is still ongoing and people are making a hell of noise, to be me, he should not sign it until pmb signs the electoral amendment law.

APC zombies just they jump up and down.. They will like you to do right thing and they themselves do the wrong thing at will.. If it was them now, you go dey hear all sort excuses like they don't trust the APC to organize a peaceful elections.. PDP accepted the blame and is already probing it.. Can we please move on.

When the president refused to sign the electoral amendment bill APC supporters were jumping up and down, so what is the essence of signing a peace accord when police and army would be used to intimidate people during the elections.

No APC organized elections has been peaceful, so we don't expect to see any peace at all.. It is better we are all prepared for the outcome of the elections than signing a false document promoting peace

Taaa! You will say you and your village people are tired of apologies.......

We are still waiting for Jubril Buhari to apologise for putting Nigeria through needless hardship while claiming to have fulfilled his campaign promises, including defeating Boko haram....... angry

The Peoples Democratic Party said it regretted that its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar did not attend the signing of the Peace Accord in Abuja on Tuesday, blaming the incident on ‘communication lapse’.

Naija Politico learnt that the Publicity secretary Kola Ologbondiyan said on Tuesday night that the party will probe the communication gap between it and the National Peace Committee, chaired by General Abdusalami Abubakar, a former Nigerian leader.

President Muhammadu Buhari and 75 other presidential candidates attended the peace meeting at the International Conference Centre in Abuja today. And all signed the Peace Accord, but the PDP and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar were conspicuously absent.

Ologbondiyan said despite the absence of both the party and its candidate, it is committed to a peaceful election

“Already, the party is conducting investigations into the circumstances that could have resulted to this unfortunate communication lapse.

“Nevertheless, it is instructive to state that our Presidential candidate, Atiku and the party PDP are fully committed to a peaceful electoral process and elections in 2019.

“Our Presidential candidate Atiku is known worldwide as a global ambassador of peace, who will always support processes that will engender peace in our country and the world over”, Ologbondiyan said.

Get your facts right. Some other candidates did not attend. Why take on just Atiku.or is it true that he is the night mare of your Àpc among other candidates.
Machini:
Is he even in the country? Is he well? So out of all the Presidential candidates he's the only one that suffered from the communication lapses.

Interesting.

Buhari will not attend the debate. Make I see PDP supporters wail over that. If u say APC never organized any peaceful election, I'm sure u were still a kid when obasanjo was organizing elections in this country
Re: PDP Regrets Absence Of Atiku At Peace Accord Ceremony by Goke7: 7:31am On Dec 12, 2018
Atiku and PDP goofed, if it was APC who did not attend, the media would have been awashed with PDP accusing APC as a violent part that does not want peace. What manner of hypocrisy!
