Lack of education has created more barriers than it has millionaires. There is a correlation between education levels & poverty. The unemployment rate for graduates is lower than for non-grads. Success in entrepreneurship can also be linked to education levels. I don't dispute that one can be successful without formal education. In South Africa, many cannot further their schooling due to circumstances beyond their control. But if you have a chance to further your formal qualifications - make use of it. It will increase your options.
