it's good these figures are being bandied about considering the season we are in but this administration should understand that having given such robust figures from earnings gotten from firs alone,it means if other monies from other sources are added, then this government has no reason not to be able to meet its past and future commitments to such bodies as labour congress, ASUU,asup and petroleum marketers. You can't paint a robust picture of earnings yet claim to be cash strapped to keep commitments. Also, another look has to be taken into our rising debt profile cos there are other ways to improve infrastructure at low costs than the astronomical one being incurred for future generations yet the present one can't see the projects cos according to Lie Mohammed, there are too big to be seen

You say he is imcopetent yet his policies have ensured maximum income from relevant agencies as leakages otherwise known as stealing has been blocked.

Jamb has remitted billions in just 3 years under PMB while under PDP it only generated 60million naira.

FIRS is doing same

Customs are doing same.

Revenues which were unheard of in the days of PDP.

I think the incompetent ones were the past PDP governments who were focused on looting rather than accountability.
For me
Both APC and PDP are completely filled with Nonentities
Re: FIRS Generates N5trn, Targets N5.3trn By Year-end by beegodson: 10:40am On Dec 13, 2018
PMB is incompetent.....they said; but then he is painstakingly ensuring that these monies are remitted... FIRS, JAMB, Customs, etc have all remitted theirs and we have only seen this positive move only under the PMB Administration.
If this was the PDP government we would not even hear of the remitted funds, they would have made their way to loot these monies.
We did not hear of any remitted funds by these agencies up until now.
Good job PMB, we are in support of a government that is in the push for success and growth of our Country.
PMB/PYO 2019!
4+4=8.

Meanwhile the SMALLER PARTIES are being led by COMPETENT GURUS of notable achievements.
NIGERIA will never get better anytime soon.

And yet the federal government keeps borrowing like their lives depend on it. The federal government has borrowed over 20 trillion naira and is plunging the future of generations yet unborn in jeopardy.

The borrowing is the easiest way to loot. Otherwise, Nigeria is rich enough to sustain itself. I believe this revenue declared is just 20% of the actual amount generated. Nigerian can generate over 100 trillions in a year but over 90% goes to private pocket.

Do t mind them, they will not tell you that most of the money is from petroleum profit tax on oil exports and the increase is due to rise in oil price and half of the money is for states and local governments.

5trillion? Oil and gas, agricultural, solid miberals, recovered funds, savings from curbing corruption, added together should approximate 12trillion naira. But our budget is always in deficit, and borrowing continues. Why are we like this

We still don't get it. We keep hearing "the highest in history " from all over of these agencies -efcc,Firs, NPA, etc. Yet Nigerians are suffering more, the government is borrowing much more, they cannot afford to pay 30k minimum wage, the economy is in shambles. Liars all over the place. Spit!

Tell that to zombies. How much is the GDP of China, US and all those other nations you talk about. Have you ever heard of "Debt to GDP ratio" ? Learn and stop the blind support .
The ĎMO recently revealed Nigeria have borrowed 3 trillion from China over the course of 4years. I mean the same China you cited as one of debtor- nations o. Now how many countries have borrowed from Nigeria and how much.
Get sense, young people of Nigeria, get sense!
Tetehjewels:

Every country in the world is a debtor country.

In fact the more developed you get the more you borrow which is why countries like China and America are the highest debtors with debts running into trillions of dollars.

The major thing is to ensure you borrow for the right reasons like infrastructure which is what this government has been doing unlike the previous government who borrowed for liabilities like salary payment

Answer the question or bury your head in shame. Buhari has ensured that leakages and monumental looting under PDP has been stopped, thank God. But what is the money used for? Why are we still borrowing?

If you were economically literate you would realise that we never borrowed cash from China. We borrowed equivalent value to infrastructure which we needed which is why its the same Chinese that are handling these infrastructural construction.

What you call a loan would be repaid by the same infrastructure being constructed

5 trillion from FIRS? And dullard can't finance budget of 7 trillion? So if FIRS realized 5 trillion, NPA, NNPC etc should be looking at 10 trillion each.

This means serious looting is going on in this evil govt
