Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie has reacted to recent viral videos and posts about the lack of genuine love in Nollywood.

In his reaction, Yul Edochie Tweeted,

'they say there's no love in Nollywood. I laugh. Brethren there's no love anywhere, not only in Nollywood. The world is tough, it's a jungle out here. My advice: Don't wait for anyone to love you, love yourself, help yourself. Work hard, pray & do what's right in the sight of God'.

Yes there is no love in nollywood but I can clearly say that hatred is channelled by YORUBAS, I'm sorry to say this.
YORUBAS try bring disunity among nollywood just like Kunle Afolayan made indirect divisive comment the other day, and that's how majority of them are

An average yoruba person will rubbish Nollywood publicity and online, but go to his house his favorite DSTV channel is yorubawood, and even has loads of YOrUBA movies scattered in his house.
Go to the shop of Iya funke , or office of Mr Tobi
His favorite channel is yoruba movie channel.
Trust me almost every Yoruba person watch their movies both old and young.
Then ask my self... IS THIS NOT THE SAME PEOPLE THAT CRITICIZE AND MOCK nollywood? Or is yoruba movie no more under nollywood?
Or is it because the main nollywood is dominated by IGBOS and other non yorubas?

Yorubas know how to play the game of "bring them down and push us up"
That's what some of us still don't know

They are talking about nollywood in particular. That industry is fake and lacks a whole lot, not only love but lack of cooperation, genuine support and togetherness.

We all know there is no love in the world, but that's a general statement which diverts attention from the main subject. Nollywood actors should and can do better.

Say no to fake actresses and actors that have no atom of value to offer to the fans other than bickering, fake lives And sexualization of themselves. [/color]

In any competitive field, it is both rat-race and and dog-eat-dog with each trying to gain an edge over the other. It is survival of the fittest and sometimes for some reasons the fittest may not win. Nobody should take it personal provided the rules of engagement are respected.
