Reno attended the event in his private capacity as a jobless busybody and not as a representative of the Federal government of Nigeria. Nigeria has a fully functional diplomatic mission in USA that is responsible for sending the country’s representative to diplomatic events like this. Trump did not even attend the event and some of you wailers are wailing that Buhari didn’t attend. Why should the president of Nigeria attend such a low key diplomatic event?
