grin

I am not impressed by Buhari's imaginary "achievements"...

But PDP would have sold Nigeria if left in power.

Atiku was there for 8 good years as VP, part of the clique that bled Nigeria dry. And so i wouldn't vote a known kleptomaniac.

Back to the story, Buhari can't participate in a debate held in his household, he's a certified dullard tongue
I like your write up but since 1999 no sitting president in Nigeria participated in debate .

I just hope that vegetable shows up and no excuses on his debate day . I'm fain Osibanjo will be debating today, so there won't be room for him to defend the uneducated lifeless one on that day. I can't wait to be hearing KWUROPTION DID THIS , KWUROPTION MADE 20% OF NIGERIANS HOMELESS AND UNABLE TO MAKE 40$ A MONTH. KWUROPTION MADE US A LAUGHING STOCK AND OUR NAIRA TO LOOSE MUCH WEIGHT. TOO MUCH KWUROPTION IN ASO ROCK MADE HIM SO SICK THAT HE HAD TO TRAVEL FOR 3 MONTHS WASTING OUR ALREADY SCARCE FOREX. Let me stop here so I won't give Afonjas heart attack.
Ehya . I hope you don’t commit suicide when Buhari is declared winner next year

Nahh I'm not in Nigeria so I won't. I just kind of pity for your poverty ass and that of your children who go to public school while Buhari takes his kids to London. I'm sure you ve not seen outside the shores of this country. Swerve

Yeah i learnt that here on Nairaland...

the stakes are too high to risk disgracing yourself as an incumbent on the big stage

Yes, rigging is still rife, but the literacy level of the electorate is increasing and it is getting more difficult to just bamboozle your followers

What will be the impact of this debate on the average Nigerian voter?!.. By that 7pm, millions will be without power supply and many more will be in the house of Some party officials collecting 5k, 10k or 50k in exchange for their PVC's... Most would have recieved fone calls during the day that the power company has disconnected their supply due to outstanding debts.. Most will still be trekking home because they want to save that Transport fare to buy their kids breakfast in the morning... Some will be detained by hospitals mgt for not being able to settle their bills... Many will be in betting houses trying to 'cut' a 'living'... Many more will be on transit going to meet that 'man' that promised to change their story after a one night stand... Many will be wrongfully detained by the police..etc.. Many will still be in traffic gridlock.. Many will hear the voices of their loved ones for the first time after days of going missing due to activities of kidnappers as a result of insecurity.. Many will be on the fone with customer Representatives of cable tv for a problem that has linger for days... May God guide us las las to elect the right people after all said and done
There will always be people like you; always negative-minded and pessimistic in outlook toward every bright idea.

Pls someone should help take this to first page.

Fellow Nigerians the truth is the FG wants us to make do with VP debate, because Buhari will never,i repeat,he'll never show up for any debate, he didnt agree to show up in 2015 when he had everything to prove, even when Gej told him he'll be allowed to speak in fulani if English language was his problem, talk more of now that he is in power.
Where in the world do they do VP debate? Why should VPs debate? are they the ones that call the shots in the government? Why go for the photocopy when you have the original? This is what this government have reduced us to

Yet the same Buhari debated in 2011. Did he not also have something to prove then?

Funny how Igbos have been swayed by the Atiku/Obi slot and loosing focus on their initial clamour for Biafra or referendum.. Everyone is unduly optimistic of Atikus victory at the polls.. No one is looking at it from other dimensions.. No one remembers the power of an incumbent president

So what happens if Atiku doesnt win? The Igbos will fall back to their Biafran cause? Isn't that laughable ?

Buhari is core military man adorned in the cloak of a civilian.. he still has that military inclinations , Buhari is a despot he might use brute to remain on the saddle.. same shit played out few months back in Osun when PDP won and it was overturned.. till date no one said a damn thing

Should Igbos heed Nnamdi Kanu's stance on voters apathy in the east and stand our ground for Biafra or referendum? Or should we keep our fingers crossed and root for Atiku/Obi....
Igbos are seemingly enmeshed in this political indecision

Can Inec be trusted? Will our votes count?

What happend in Osun is a pointer that our Inec is compromised

There should be a "pact" for power to be rotated cos even if Buhari rigs the election and holds on to power neither Hausas nor yorubas would protest cos its still favourable to them

Sometimes I feel Igbos are destined to be politically irrelavant

Aturu, the topic is not about Igbos but a debate, dummy!
It's funny how you people worry about Igbos more than your immediate family problems

The prof that delivers speech without reading any paper...it'll be superb.

However, Buhari showing up will be same as Atiku visiting the US

People who thinks Mr president is not sound enough to engage other contestants in a debate should have a re-think. Nigeria is a complex state and it take the bold to govern for one day.

Watch and see. Note my signature and remember to chat me up after 19 January, 2019. God will keep us alive till then.
It is obvious that you are just another apc zombie or one of them that know the truth but greed won't let you say it out probably because you probably collect small benefits from one oga at apc.
In which country do you see the vice presidential aspirants doing the debate instead of the presidential aspirants themselves.... Channels knows that no matter how hard they try jubril/buhari will never attend if it is made a presidential debate because....
1. The nan can barely speak English properly.
2. Since there isn't photoshop and the video is live they won't be able to do editing.
3. People will be looking forward to see if truly he is the real president.
4.They know he will mess up or embarrass himself.
5. He will probably misunderstand the questions and answer something totally unrelated when he was in London and called us lazy youths.

2007: Buhari and Pat Utomi were only ones who participated in the debate, where was Yaradua...yet he won

2011: Buhari, Ribadu, Shekarau participated, where was Jonathan ....yet he won

2015: Jonathan, Sonaya and others.... Where was Buhari & for the 1st time since he began contesting, he did not go for the debate....Buhari won

Do the math

Debate won't do jack shit...

And I wouldn't blame him for not going
