Start a program of weight lifting at the gym. Strong people are mentally tough people. As you age, you need not lose your physical nor your mental strength. 75 year-old men are running marathons, 80 year-old women have scaled mountains and 90 year-old grandparents are living rich, productive lives. Whether you are 19 or 93, stay fit, stay motivated and stay passionate about life. |

GeneralOjukwu:laurel03 There's a reason why people wrongly assume that no sitting president has ever been involved in a presidential debate. It's because of the following controversies: 1) 1999: There was an election debate in 1999 and I watched both sessions of the debate. Atiku Abubakar debated Umaru Shinkafi in the vice presidential debate, but Olusegun Obasanjo failed to show up for the presidential debate. 2) 2003: The NEDG and BON organised the debate in 2003 and all candidates attended. However, President Obasanjo's ex-wife, Major Moji Obasanjo was one of the presidential candidates and she had spent most of her campaign attacking and insulting her ex-husband. People wanted to see the fireworks that would fly when both candidates met on stage. However, the NEDG announced that there would be two sessions of the debate because there were too many candidates and the candidates would be grouped in alphabetical order. The result was that all other candidates debated in the first session while Obasanjo was the only candidate in the second session. 3) 2011: There was a new television station called NN24. It was a news channel on DSTV and it was not a member of BON. It held its own presidential debate and Buhari (CPC), Shekarau (ANPP) and Ribadu (ACN) were present at its debate. However, President Jonathan said that he did not recognise the NN24 debate. He said that there was already an official organisation that organises debates and so there was no need for another debate. So he boycotted the debate. Consequently, the ANPP, ACN and CPC boycotted the BON debate and President Jonathan was the only presidential candidate that was involved in the BON debate. 4) 2015: President Jonathan attended the BON debate, where he debated against the candidates of the National Conscience Party (NCP), the United Democratic Party (UDP), KOWA Party and the United Peoples Party (UPP). However, Muhammadu Buhari of the APC boycotted the debate. Olusegun Obasanjo (2003) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkpAHwOMasM Goodluck Jonathan (2015) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3RpO0N_5Pk https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.legit.ng/amp/407067-main-things-jonathan-said-at-presidential-debate.html |

chrisxxx:And what's important about the debate? Election is never won by debate. Buhari might lose in debate but not in an election. His good works will speak for him. Debate or not Buhari is wining 2019 election and he will win BIG. |

Randy100:Where do we fall back to in case he wins this election. Dont you think we always play a bad politics by putting all our eggs in one basket. If Atiku fails what moral justification will we have to restart the Buhari campaign again? |

SoNature:Dont call him Aturu.(sheep). He raised a valid point. Why do we put all our eggs in one basket? In the event of Atiku losing this election which i dont pray for, do we have any moral justificatiion to go back to our biafra campaign again? |

Vulcanheph:Educated zombies. You dat can speak English properly, which position are you in now? You think debate will determine the fact of the election? You think the winner of a debate has automatic ticket to win the election? The ones that has been debating very well with PHD Degree and Big Head the like of Goodluck Jonathan, where did they lead us to? Am not surprised if Buhari win the presidential election, your will say because he didn't debate that's why he won. Don't allow hate consume you, Atiku dollars might not get to you but Buhari's impact will be felt in your village. Use your brain. |

chrisley:Use your head when accusing people, do you think inec will declare PDP the leader of osun election if they intended to compromise? the game to pull people to come and vote for you is BTW your party and others. inec is to count the vote. Osun shift of winner is more of party to party than inec |
