Oyedepo was never an intelligent person. So are many of this men of God. You just have to sit through there messages and hear the lies they feed their members as miracles tales. You will wonder, do people believe this?

They do it over time and with time they starts to believe their own lies. Which is the worst form of delusion. Believing your lies and have people even cheer you for it.
