I received message from facebook that I have changed my user name to another email address which I never did.

I have tried all options provided by facebook Help Centre but to no avail.
I was asked to contact my Trusted Contacts to get codes from them which I didn't do when my account was still accessible.

I have sent several messages to the Email that was changed to but never reply.

I think my facebook account has been compromised by another person or a virus.

Kindly help on what to do.

@jboy01, when I tried all d require processes, facebook will say a code has been sent to the email address which is not mine. I ve sent several messages d email addres but didn't reply. I think it's a virus dt compromised my facebook account and I don't have trusted contacts.

How can I get into the inbox of the email where d code was sent to?

Ur account was hacked and now whoever did that has setup Email as recovery, u were a victim of FB phishing hack, read in this my post below, you must been quilty of one of the security loops

1. Never leave ur account opened in cyber cafe when ur time runs out
2. Never u remember password on any browser either on ur phone or someone's phone.
3.stop using people's phone to login its not by force to Facebook.
4. We are the one doing ourselves

Avoid clicking every link u get linking u to fb to fill login details
