A man was told to eat with right hand . He said no. . Rosul then said he won't be able to lift his right hand and he can't . ( meaning it's ibaadah.. And eating with left hand is a sin)..

Maybe the rasool forbade the umah from using spoon. You know, Islamically rasool asked all Muslims to lick their fingers after eating; how do one licks fingers if he eats with a spool? No wonders some hausa 'mey tea' in my neighbourhood always eat with their hands, even after driving 'Okada' and 'meruwa' and their hands filled with dirt.

I think, to some Muslims, following the sunnah is more important than living a clean and healthy life.
