specify the kind of file, saved with what kind of software, built by what kind of sofware company, with what cloud service provider if any, over what kind of network. Do you ever do backup?
An off the shelve software or custom-made for your company. Is it on web or offline

What type of hacking: denial of access to the application, network, database or injection of data to database or admin password hijack. Your answer to these questions would be the the key for any kind of intervention.

Try and think out of the box I Dont want to talk much here . We have worked with a a lot of big Companies that used security software's to encrypt there files and most times they have loss of data in which we help them recover.

We have tools (hardware's and softwares) that does the work .

As we always say its oyinbo that did pencil and did eraser. Dont say its not possible just say you Dont know if its possible . Warm Regards .

If you are talking brute force then you are not very conversant with how encryption works. Brute force tries to search for the key by trying every possible combination. So in the end u still need the key and u don't need to be on Linux to accomplish that (even though Linux is suited for such type of work). My initial assertion was that anyone saying he can decrypt the file without the key is not being truthful. Brute force is searching for the key my bro
