The advent of Information Communication Technology (ICT) has indeed been a profound blessing to the 21st century. There is no ramification of our existence today that it doesn't reverberate, perceptible in its reversal of the notion of access to any variety of information as an uphill task. This has been particularly facilitated by internet media commonly known as search engines, among which Google stands tall like an iroko tree. Google, which began just as an academic research project of Larry Page and Sergey Brin, has metamorphosed into an information hub par-excellence evident in its usage by corporate bodies, governments, and individuals all over the globe for various purposes.

Like organisations rightly inclined to serve their patronizers better, Google has put in place proactive measures to ensure that her platform is not misused and abused. To enable its optimization by well-meaning individuals and corporate bodies that yearn to expand their customer base, the organisation introduced the Google Content Policy which delineates the dos and donts in the search engine's overall utilization. It unequivocally states the nature of content website owners or administrators should incorporate to their web activities for attainment of set goals like desisting from directly or indirectly fostering causes that seek to harm or kill (for example, terrorism), defrauding unsuspecting people, portraying child abuse/molestation, promoting adult materials, and so on. Therefore, getting the attention of your target market on the internet hinges on your adherence to these precepts. To drive traffic, you must obey traffic rules! The existence of the Google Content Policy underscores the fact Google can tell the difference between good and bad content. This policy, among others, then becomes the touchstone for distinguishing contents that it smiles at from ones that it frowns at.

More so, the foregoing is corroborated by an outlet of Google known as Google Adsense. This is a feature developed by this multi-billion-dollar company that can be advertised through a website, thus enabling its owner earn one dollar per any click on it from visitors. Its peculiarity stems from the fact it cannot be done on any random website, but only on websites that accept Google Adsense terms and conditions that somewhat comprise stipulations in the Google Content Policy. For instance, Google Adsense cannot be advertised on a website that subtly preaches violence or portrays adult content. Google's disposition is redolent of a ethical organisation devoted to propagating moral values, peace, and security globally.

However, Google algorithm, which is a program developed to isolate relevant contents from irrelevant ones, makes the search engine user-friendly. It does this by displaying information sought for through the input of keywords by a user. In this way, mediation between users and their requested information is enabled by this distinct program. To a reasonable extent, it works hand in glove with the other aforementioned Google features to produce quality information, serve burgeoning Google users better, and achieve the objectives of the Google empire.

I appreciate your feedback. So what do you suggest for wider appeal of subsequent similar contents?
