8 Questions Peter Obi Must Answer

The Vice Presidential debate has further strengthened what we know about PDP's Vice Presidential candidate, Peter Obi. His half-truths and misleading exaggerations have once again been brought to the fore.

There are many things that are unclear, for which Nigerians demand answers:

1. Where did Obi serve under NYSC and in what year?

2. Obi's resume is silent on his early employment history. Where did he work before he became the chairman of Next International?

3. Who funded the acquisition of Obi's house in London just 3 years after graduating from school...Next International or Obi?

4. How much did Obi earn between 1984- 1987 to afford a posh property in London?

5. Is there any truth to the allegation that Obi's business deals in Brazil in the late 1980s involved illicit drugs?

6. How much taxes did Obi & Next International pay between 1984 and 1987 or was Obi & his company exempted from Tax?

7. Why did Obi hide his ownership of flats in Ikoyi & London? Is he hiding the source of funds?

8. How many shares did Obi assign to his company, Next International when he invested Anambra's money in Intafact Beverages

We owe it a duty to tell the truth even if Peter Obi comes from my state, the great state of Anambra. Here are some things I know;

1) Peter Obi never did NYSC because he graduated with 3rd class in Philosophy. That result is completely useless and couldn't qualify him for service.

2) Peter Obi made his money by drug trafficking which landed his partner-in-crime, Dubem Obaze in a US prison. Years down the road, Obi repaid him for keeping his mouth shut by appointing him Anambra commissioner for local government, a position he held for 8 years.

3) Peter Obi stole Anambra blind by saving state funds in his bank to yield interests for him. He was also laundering cash until police caught the courier, who happened to be his media aide. Thereafter, he changed tactics

4)Peter Obi has not built a personal house in his hometown, Agulu or any branch of his business there either. Some say it is the condition he was given by his secret cult for sustenance of his wealth.

5) To be continued..

Chino, you are 42 years old now, grow up.

Stop messing yourself due to the small crumbs you get from Ifeanyi Aniagoh.

Nairaland is Nigeria's biggest discussion forum.
Any question asked here will find a way of getting viral anyway, especially after it hits the front page.
Nigerians visit Nairaland more than Twitter according to Alexa ranking too, so i don't see why anybody can't ask questions on Nigeria's biggest discussion forum!

And can the person get prompt responses here, Rankings are what they are ... We are talking about response from the person in question and not banterings from two or more people with dissenting views...

Have you seen Buhari, Atiku, Osinbajo, or even Peter Obi responding personally to claims here?? As for going viral, as a blogger or anyone seeking attention or traffic , i can copy a post and if i have a large number of followers, , they'll comment it still isn't the same as getting a response from the Horse's mouth..

Re: 8 Questions Peter Obi Must Answer by cute9ja: 4:17pm On Dec 18, 2018
You are entitled to your opinion, and i respect it, but it should go both ways
Peter Obi is being held accountable today, who says Osinbajo wouldn't be held accountable tomorrow or Ganiyu Galadima and Umma Getso the day after?
Why don't we focus on the subject matter, instead of diverting attention.
Are the questions not valid? is a prospective VP and ex-govenor not supposed to be accountable?
What is the use of Nairaland? Is this not a discussion forum?
Are we forbidden from questioning our prospective leaders on the internet?
Must we attend town hall meetings in Ajao Estate before we ask questions and make our prospective leaders accountable?
Houstency:

True we need to hold prospective leaders who aspire for elective positions accountable. But your questions were asked in bad taste, considering your tone, one-sided fact finding, bias towards a particular political party and erroneous conclusion as evident in your above post. Same ethnic bias you complained of, is glaring in your post as well as holding the reply from a faceless entity on Nairaland as true without considering the veracity of what he said. If you really care for the replies to your questions, visit one of his town hall meetings like the one carried out yesterday at Ajao Estate. To be fair apply same measures to All presidential candidates both in APC, PDP, ANN and other political positions and you can get a balanced view.

Holding your leaders accountable has nothing to do with law suits
For example, the first question is very simple.
Where did he serve and it what year?
Several Nigerian leaders have been held accountable in recent times concerning their NYSC.
A Finance minister resigned because of NYSC
An APC governorship aspirant and current minster of communication was yanked off primaries because of NYSC
Who is the lazy Nigerian youth, the one that asks questions and demand accountability from leaders, or the ones that keep quiet and form voltron for their ethnic champions?[/s]
If you want accountability as you pointed out, start by organising a protest against the likes of ganduje oshomole maina babachir and every corrupt politicians. In addition write petitions against the above mentioned persons. Approach the court to order the anti corruption agencies to commence investigations and if possible institute criminal proceedings against these politicians. That way i will acknowledge you as a hard working, patrotic citizen rather than a lazy youth that is chasing shadows where non exists

2) He was 76 yesterday, so you didn't even wish your president a happy birthday? shocked
3) He confirmed that last month on national television, didn't you watch it? Or are you still deluded about the Jubrin rumour? cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Can the drug dealing allegations be true?
Obi was put forward as the decent man on the PDP ticket.
It would be a shame if his past is tainted by drug trafficking.

Imagine the number of lives that could have fallen victim?
