Where .... ?

Which L.G.A are been overrun by BHT, recently.
Here we go again
In America the love affair with the Military ended after WW2
In Vietnam the US ARMY in particular struggled with its core values and disciplinary issues , and drugs were rampant, Conscription became mandatory and even now every able bodied male is mandated to register with the ****.
In the US not a day goes by that African American Men and Hispanic MEN are likely to be subjected to some form of Rights violations.
Please stop idealizing America, If you argue with the Police and the Cop feels threatened they shoot to kill.
if you intend to visit America Don't behave like a typical NAIJA If you get stopped you could be placing your life in jeopardy.
for those suggesting NYSC should be posted to the NE in the conflict area it shows you how much they really understand the conflict.
It bears repeating :
One day this conflict will be over.

One thing is prevalent in Western Countries, the ability of the people to protest grin, no one will just hand over rights to the masses, the masses have to fight for it, while the media spread the word and educate people on their right.
Here in the US there are cops that will threaten to arrest you if you didn't provide them your identification, just for walking on the street, but guess what, those who knew their right, knows that there is no law in America that says you should provide ID to any cop, as long as you aren't suspected in committing a crime, so if people aren't educated about it, they fall prey to those with power.
I wish Nigerians protest more, peacefully, and do it constantly, i can assure you, all these rubbish of no stable power, unemployment, lack of infrastructure, insecurity, all that will vanish. That's a fact.
But when no one is pressuring the leaders to provide basic services, and expect them to perform at certain level, then they have no reason to. Since they serve gullible masses. Same mentality goes into the military, if there is no discipline at the top, the bottom will rot
At the end of the day, the problem with Nigeria lies with the people. If the people don't give a damn about how their Govt functions, then nothing will work. It's all about the mentality, we are more than ready to burn people to death for stealing 5 naira, but hail a thief who steals millions while in elected office or hold Govt position. There ya go
I fully agree with this, but in a country like Nigeria such a thing can never happen... If people are to protest against buhari, it will only be successful in the south south and south east and maybe some part of the north central, you saw how the fuel protest was during the tenure of GEJ.
I believe Nigeria needs to practice true federalism for us to experience true development.

And what's the result of the fuel protest...... huh

Am no pro-Buhari and I hate anything that as to do with GEJ & PDP because they are monumentally corrupt, likewise APC are terribly corrupt.

The S.E or S.S will not protest during GEJ's regime likewise the Northerners nor western part during these tenor, .. sad
The day we do without tribalism/ethnicity and religion, focusing on positive set goals. Then such protest we will start yielding positive result.

US citizens don't love their service men 'by force'. They love and respect them because the feeling is mutual!
Citizens are not 'afraid' of their military.

The Nigerian military has a bigger battle to fight.
To win the hearts of Nigerians.
You can't keep brutalising the people you are meant to protect and expect them to love you.

It is not entirely the fault of the military. It is a doctrine issue. A government needs to come in and revise the training of law enforcement/military. These men act as they have been trained to act.

Every adult Nigerian has had or knows someone who has had a bitter experience with police/military.

Just last week, i witnessed an accident where a civilians car was hit from behind by a soldiers car in front of 6div port harcourt. The driver came down from his car and ran away to a distance to start begging. All the touts at rumuola, passers by, everybody kneeling and begging the soldier that was at fault.

That's what years and years of oppression causes.

People don't love their militaries in Africa. People fear them.

It's sad!
NYTIMES just dropped another footage. Usual falsehood was shared to justify the execution of civilians in broad day light because the army can't get a grip over its recruits. Seems most get stripped of humanity when they pass out army training. My ex classmate; a Major shared same HQ Army's response on Facebook 'For our attention' to justify the act. Unfortunately we're still seeing no appetite for change from the highest level and acts like this are multiplier effects for low level conflicts and sabotage against the country.

The Nigeria military is filled with cowards, only powerful when facing unarmed civilians, that's the only time they are always gallant grin

A useless military struggling against a ragtag boko haram in Nigeria territory.

And some fools over here will be comparing this incompetent military with that of SA, what an insult angry

That's the video, then a lot of people will wander why some people don't feel pity when Nigerian military personnel are killed by boko haram.

Do you remember the community were cars were found in there river, wetin their eyes see eh, army personnel will drink in bar, they won't pay you and still beat you on top of it, houses were scattered and looted and other rubbish.
Just because it's happening in the USA, does that mean it should happen in Nigeria... Patriotism is not about the love for the Army, but for the country, the funny thing i that you will still see people and the government defending this nonsense and trash... The Nigerian Army needs a serious reform and reorientation, but a military that does not value the lives of her own men, will it value that of civilians huh This sort of barbarity and savagery can't and shouldn't be allowed in Nigeria.

People that do turn a blind eye to this savagery by the military will have their love ones affected by it someday so they will feel what others are feeling.
first of all, the military has no business with internal affairs like riots, protests etc.
What happened to the riot police?
Tear gas water canons and rubber bullets could have been deployed instead of live firearms.
But on another note, it's so foolish for those Shiites members throwing stones at the military. I learnt a soldier or two were hit by stones thrown at them.
Even the well trained guards brigade that are trained to curtail these kinds of crisis were busy firing 50mm matching gun on unarmed civilians.
That's too bad of them, little wonder why our weapon acquisitions takes ages to be delivered embarassed

People who defend injustices like this have NEVER had a family relative experience such inbthe hands of these power drunk men. If they have, I bet u their perspective will be different.

.....sorry to say this, sometimes I don't feel pity when boko haram- who is a near match to them compared to unarmed civilians- decimate them....its like karma.

Though not all of them are brutal, a very few of them are nice
