You people and your short memory.

Was there ever a time when our highways were free of danger?

So, because a retired general was murdered, it becomes a pointer to how badly insecurity has got in Nigeria. What about those who have been murdered over the years on our roads either by thieves, ritualists, policemen, Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen.

I know of a friend who has been robbed many times while traveling from Kaduna to Abuja and vice versa. One of the events happened under Umar Musa Yar'Adua's administration. And someone was even killed. But we never hear about it. But as soon as a big man dies, Nigerians forget and start talking as if the problem started today.

A huge loss to the country if they didn't recover all the money he stole. I suspect he was gonna testify and name all his accomplice and then they silenced him.

I remember Badeh as Chief of defence staff who sent a chopper to evacuate his family when Boko Haram took over his town.
May God have mercy on his soul. Thousands died as a result of his corruption.

..actually not even in a communist state would ex generals be made no fuss over if they where killed in the streets by deviants like your normal joe-civi. It's as if you want Nigeria to be the first Nation in the world in which there are no hierarchy of importance or status bestowed individuals.

He had it coming! There were many conspiracies about the funding of boko haram by the cia through high ranking curropt military officials! Sooner or later it had to happen.
The Nigerian army is cleaning up! This was surely an assasination no doubt about it. Politicians hands r all over it(i sense the opposition pdp) but late Mr Alex was not a politician though he did dinned with them!
Its possible late mr Alex was about to be unearthed by the armed forces investigative panels nd we all know that no one no matter how mad would dare assasinate a high profile person such as a retired 4 star general but for a few organizations. Western intelligence agencies. (CIA, Mossad, Mi6) or who ever had something to do with boko haram.

If u must to dine with the devil.... bring a long fork. He got mopped up before he squirms nd spills out names. Something is about to go down in 2019 elections nd after. The usual game of thrones of evry 4 yrs in naija. Assasinations nd consipiracies....

The report says he was assassinated.

Even a whole head of state, Muritala Mohammed, was assassinated on the road.

Bola Ige was murdered in his house.

The use of murder to resolve issues is toxic and is itself an offspring of the partriarchy. #endthepartrarchy, #endtoxicmasculinity

Partriarchy and male dominance and control hurts us all.

Even though Alex Badeh was one of those who made vote against GEJ on 2015 I must say his assassination is is a revelation on the extent of insecurity in Nigeria today under Buhari , all our highways have become bait grounds for Fulani kidnappers who attack road users on a bid to Rob and abduct them for ransome ..If Alex Baddeh can be killed minutes away from the Nations capital then nobody is safe including those still supporting Buhari..Nigeria needs a total rehaul and Buhari the devil can't be part of that
is it HAtifu that will do the "overhaul"?

like he overhaulled our PTDF funds abi?

like he overhaulled our N300billion electicity fund abi?

like he overhaulled Customs while he was DG abi?

the way you will cry when HAtifu enters power ehh..you can only see it in your dreams...

Wow RIP to him. If this can happen to a former top rank military man then what will be the hope of the common man in this country.
the hope of common man is that he doesn't join in stealing the country's wealth, so that such fate will not be his.

This your conspiracy theory is interesting. Develop the line of thought through reliable research and you might make a larger story.

The death of Andrew Azzazi in a helicopter crash comes to mind. undecided

JUBRIL doing what he does best shedding blood and leading the nation deeper into NEXT LEVEL of chaos.

No more freedom of speech and blood shed has become the order of the day. Dumb, stack illetrate dictator who flaunts court order like no tomorrow.

He is guilty of war crimes against humanity and i hope after he is sent back to Daura he is called upon to answer for all these atrocities such as the Fulani Herds Men Massacre, The Hundreds of soldiers slaughtered by BH and the shooting of unarmed innocent and peaceful protesters in abuja.

All of you who witnessed this and are still campaigning for this dullard shall be haunted for the rest of your lives by the spirit of the innocent victims.

It's really quite painful to imagine that some unfortunate being spent hours in a labor room to produce you. Just one of these criminals get killed while thousands of ordinary citizens are continually mowed down like flies over the years spanning GEJ-PMB era and then you coackroaches crawl out of your soak-aways to cry injustice? Some of you Nigerians are actually really a special kind of stupid.

It is either Nigerians have a short memory or amnesia of the convenient is playing out here. What if aggrieved ex-soldiers who have an axe to grind with Alex Badeh, Amosun et al for stealing the money meant for equipping soldiers fighting Boko Haram and in consequence of which the soldiers ended up dying cheaply in war took out Alex Badeh! The other thieves still alive have murdered sleep? Oh, how do we recover Alex Badeh’s loot now! Nigerians can be so deceptive- how can a thief rest in peace! There is no peace for the wicked - dead or alive!

Honestly, you go through a lot of the posts and begin to understand that stupidity is hereditary. A lot of these folks didn't even cry as much when their own loved ones died as a result of one failure or the other in the system occasioned by corruption. They are so consumed by APC/PDP nonsense to even see anything clearly.
