:

1st step - Send an email with your driver's license details to the FRSC Abuja Office requesting a FRSC letter or driving record.
You are more likely NOT to receive a reply from the FRSC Abuja office.

2nd step- Follow up your email by contacting this Abuja FRSC Employee (Sule - phone number 2348033795031)
Sule will access the FRSC Database and will write for you the FRSC letter.
I was also told that the Service provided by Sule is free of charge . The only money you will send to him is for the shipment of the FRSC letter to you.

Bonne chance

Hello @Congo2 and landed seniors.

Please what address is FRSC suppose to put on the letter. Mr. Sule just asked me to send that to him now. Please help.

thank you for the advice and response, just to clarify i didnt enter the UK as an Illegal, i studied there for 2 years, and i found it difficult adjusting once i got there, thats what i mean

I know. It's shocking when these western countries have and enforce their strict immigration laws. People in Nigeria don't realize this before they leave. Either way that's why I was saying focus on getting Canadian papers first.

Egypt airline gave my 9 months old 1 x 23kg and we carry extra small bag for diaper, few clothes and snacks for her

sweetrie:
Every airline is 10kg, except you are paying for extra luggage.

I feel. Like u still aren't getting me lol. I have applied for the express entry and all that's left is for me to get the ppr mail.

I was saying by faith I am confident I will get my ppr mail soon, in less than a month.

A lil help please.
We found a house at Burlington, and I checked the school bus route only to find that my Children at this address will not be eligible for bus transportation. While school is only 11 minutes on foot, will my children be expected to make this trip on foot in wintry conditions

Agree with this...Downtown anywhere will most likely have their larger share of crackheads and those guys in DTK sure do light up their game...I'm in Doon South...Grand River is 2 mins away from me, 401 is 3 mins away and I looove the area!!!
behati:

Congrats on your landing. I would assume your experience with seeing drug abuse on the streets is because you live around the downtown. There are lots of very quiet and family oriented areas in Kitchener or you could consider Cambridge. Consider areas like doon south, huron park, hidden valley. You may be shocked to find same thing in Guelph if you visit downtown.

The doon area is absolutely peaceful and quiet. I love it!

Please I have a question for those who used Ethopian airlines and had an infant traveling. What is the luggage allowance for infant. I am seeing conflicting info on this.

Please your response is highly needed. Thanks
You are not alone. Just this morning i had to research on this. I visited Ethiopian airline office weeks back who said 10kg (not sure the attendant understood that my flight was to Canada) but checking their website now i see 23kg for flights from/to Canada. I plan to call their office to clear this out

@salford lol! @ sabbatical. Life just gets in the way. I try to pop in when I can. Happy to see the thread growing though. Yea, the issues forced their hand to open the flood gates and yes, the docs get issued a tier 2 UK visa based on their employer prior to arrival.
@bsbabe what services did your person access privately? Usually when we say no private care we mean that there are no private hospitals or diagnostics and similar services. All of these are owned by the government. Clinics are different. Usually clinics are owned privately but services rendered are paid for by the provincial government through the health insurance system. Only people who are not eligible for health insurance then have the option to pay out of pocket. This is typically the system for a universal health care system as it operates here, the UK and Australia. In countries with private health systems, hospitals and other services can be owned by private organizations as is the case in countries like the states.
@rainazoe yea, process would be similar. Your gp would even refer you to midwives as well for obstetric care based on your preference.

You might not be getting responses because the people who might have the info you seek might not be online or active here.

However, I think Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are good places to consider. You can browse up on the prospects in these cities.

Hi Everyone

I just have a couple of questions in an effort to plan ahead. My family and I are still awaiting PPR

We have decided to settle in Regina Sask and my greatest worry is my spouse finding a job. He's in IT, mainly computer network/system technician.
Is it possible to start to job search from Nigeria?

Any pointers with regards to life in Regina and job search would be highly appreciated.
I'm an entrepreneur and I work from home so I plan to continue to leverage on that so I can have time for my children

He can, but getting the work permit is the VO's prerogative.
