This are some of the things the average Nigerians go through daily on Nigerians road, anytime I pass through itokin road, I do feel like crying cause of how horrible the road is and it do make the journey very uncomfortable for me, once i reach ijebu igbo i dey always use panadol , but who cares about it since buhari does not pass through the road. The Government will release funds to the military for weapons, yet some people will steal some of the money and still threaten this same military personnel when they complain... I can still remember the day Alex Baden said soldiers that run away from boko haram will be court martialed immediately in the war zone, they didn't address the problems till today nothing has change in fact this buhari government is more worst. The APC promised change, but nothing has change. |

We are in serious trouble in this country. The supposedly educated folks make skewed comments based on ethnic, religious and political line and make it seem as if it's the truth. What is happening in this country has been a long time coming and the government of the day is bereft of ideas on how to checkmate the security challenges. Previous governments led us to this but the current govt is also treading the same path. Certain things we cannot say here. |

Buhari and Jonathan, aren't they the worst of the worst. End of all, its one bad followed by another equally bad deciding our fate and guess who suffers? In between them are the masses who choose to put their faith in people like that. Jonathan's indifference coupled with arrogance of Buhari when security issues are concerned. Military remained same old, insufficient and undertrained. From whence would security assurance come with those qualities above. Political will is where it's all at. Else next incoming President, it'll be same old shitt. |

I mentioned Gen de Villiers last year-he resigned after the military budget was reduced by 5 % last year saying:“In the current circumstances I see myself as no longer able to guarantee the robust defense force I believe is necessary to guarantee the protection of France and the French people, today and tomorrow, and to sustain the aims of our country,”. Anyway he's a potential caretaker prez! In an unprecedented move the French brass has publicly delivered a warning letter to Macron warning on uncontrolled immigration . The MSM has been quiet but there's been MASSIVE UNREST OVER UNCONTROLLED IMMIGRATION AND SCHEDULED FUEL PRICE INCREASES ordered by Macrons' real bosses. He's maybe the most unpopular history in the history of the world at a 18% approval. Paris, December 07, 2018www.minurne.org/billets/19275 Yes,poo is that bad! Cops are not only underpaid and overworked they despise Macron as much as everyone! Seeking to soothe police forces demanding improved working conditions, the French government on Tuesday proposed giving 300-euro ($340) bonuses to officers deployed to the aggressive and disruptive protests that started last month.https://www.thedailystar.com/cnhi_network/french-govt-offers--euro-bonus-to-protest-weary-police/article_f8ef1c94-2d0a-5c23-9e7f-73984cd9b299.html Btw,this is happening all over Europe-people are finally fighting back against their Zio bankster leaders-if this move goes all the way there are definite implications for the nature of the French state and by extension Jean-Fraude's false flags with BH and AQ in the Sahel. Iow,BH might be defeated when their Paris backers lose

Really? This is all u can come up with? What procurement has this Govt made compared to GEJ? In terms of tackling corruption GEJ even did better than PMB....considering that "fighitng" corruption is PMB's war cry. It would be very senseless to blame GEJ for bringing us here...when the current Government has had over 3 and half years to "fix" whatever issues u claim that we have. Instead of calling what we are going through as it is you decide to be defeatist and join the blame game. Thank God u have left the Army because it doesnt need commaders who blame rather than proffer solution bidexiii: |

kenpaul0:It's absolutely okay to blame the president and that's your unequivocal right but should the blame wholly be on him? We have a system that has been completely dysfunctional and is still dysfunctional. It's easy to blame the president on Badeh's death but nobody is talking about the dead driver. You see why I did say the system is dysfunctional. Maybe Nigeria will get better if we begin to have an introspection. Some people might think that Nigeria has a leadership deficit, the problem is the people, it's very hard for us to see beyond our noses without bringing inanities into matters, that's why it's easy for soldiers to kill unarmed shitte and we think its okay, that's why politicians bereft of ideologies easily cross carpet to other political parties as easy as they change their girlfriends and Nigerians think it's okay. That's why a sitting governor will be recorded collecting bribe and nothing will happen. That's why the senate can go on recess for no good reason without discussing the budget. That's why a senator can pose with his expensive cars in this country acclaimed to be the poverty capital of the world. That's why the elites and politicians can look at us in the face and tell us Bleep you lot because they know we are filled with inanities and their actions bears no consequence. |

Security was first politicised by the APC when it was in the opposition. It's supporters and leaders continuously used any breach of security in the country as an example of yet another failure of the Goodluck Jonathan administration. It got so bad that After each bomblast, social media newsfeeds will be flooded with dead bodies including concocted and photoshopped pictures from other war tone countries. Along with it were liberal commentaries of curse and political damnation to the then ruling elites. It worked. Jonathan and his gang are no more Now, 3 years 7months after those who promised to stop the carnage took over, we have a different narrative. Death must never be reported. Attacks by boko haram must be tolerated. Massacre of our soldiers, even if it is in hundreds, must be ignored. Their logic; don't politicise security. Ladies and gentlemen, security has to be politicised because security has to be discussed by the politicians. It is Buhari that is incharge of our security. He delegates authority and has the exclusive powers to delegate, deploy, appropriate, hire and fire. These powers are absolute and like Jonathan, he is utterly clueless and incompetent on how to use them. Accordingly he has blood in his hands! Alex Badeh was no ordinary man. He was a four star general, air chief and chief of defense staff. His assassination easily within the fct perimeter is a serious security breach. We may strongly feel some people deserve to die because of what we think their past represent, but we should equally be informed enough to know that some circumstances around their death may portend a greater danger for all. Badeh could be tried and hanged for all l care. But if he is killed with that ease on one of the most secured federal high ways, then l shudder. In fact, l even cry, when young educated people, some of them even lawyers and future leaders, would rather come here to curse and blame his dead body rather than who are In charge of our security in the last 43 months at both the political and professional level. Buhari, not Badeh's dead body is to blame! RIP Nigeria |

Let us not talk about the NASS...Let us focus on where the President has total control...The executive and everyone under him....Everything rises and falls on Leadership...that is what we must focus on....Presidents have stepped down for failures attributed to them....Here we explain everything..If there are issues with governance it is the job of the President to proffer solutions and not blame someone else....This trickles down to the Military and Police...If the C in C can explain away failures what do you expect from those under him Geronimoe: |

BabaOwen:True. Or when equipment is bought it is refurbished and at 3 times the cost of a new one. I still vividly remember how some connected middleman bought used T-72s for $85k and sold same to our army for $2.5 million. The immense corruption in the military boggles the mind and looks set to continue till eternity, cos there is no accountability. |

kenpaul0:You think the NASS can be absolved of all these, even the Judiciary too? These people are also leaders in their own right. If the NASS are not preoccupied with their own selfish interests you think the executive will derelict on their own duties, for gods sakes they are supposed to check on the other arms of govt. The NASS is supposed to be the strongest arm of govt because they can impeach the president. I agree that the blame is completely on the president because he is the leader that everyone sees but does that absolve everyone of us. I will say it in black and white that the problem of Nigeria is Nigerians themselves. We want to make noise because a high profile person was killed, forgetting that every life matters even his driver's. Why don't we make noise for every Nigerian that has been killed on Nigerian roads. Why didn't we make noise for the aguam adara that was kidnapped and killed in kaduna state. Why didn't we make noise for a certain serving colonel and driver that were killed on kad/abuja road, but because this one serves some political interest it's okay to use it. APC used the same tactics too but does that make it right? Until we emancipate ourselves from political/religious/ethnic bigotry then we continue as we are. |

It's so shocking when people justify some of this Nigerian politicians will do some crazy things yet some of we citizens will justify the evil and even commend it If given the opportunity some people on this thread will kill far more people marching/protesting just because they threw stones and nail spikes then they deserve to be shot death with machine guns ![]() Men Nigerians are very wicked and very terrible set of people, they are more loyal to an organization than they are to Nigeria... Some Nigerians that complain about the way the government loot, if they find their self in such positions they will loot far more than abacha did and even order the security to shoot to death any protester that protest against it. |
