Well for one thing the boy wouldn't have died... That was expected... He is the MC... And they explained that in S2, he was shot through the eye... And he Survived

And as for the Princess, well that one is another story... They chose to keep her alive.. And she was relevant to the story in the end, as she aided in stopping the Warring Factions.. Ultimately I didn't have any issues with the Anime overall... I enjoyed it till the very end

The Main Character was great.. No emotions, no time for nonsense... Just doing what needs to be done.. Love those kinds of MCs ✔️

Yeah I really liked the MC, if you've seen enough mecha anime you find out that type of MC is a rarity. They are usually annoying wieny teenagers (shinji).

if you do get curious about revisiting mecha, i suggest you watch gurren lagann. one of the best mecha IMO. Also has one of the coolest anime character in it

Watching one or the mecha anime series is cool but after that, they mostly start to look the same. Weakness at first, defeats, upgrades, old enemies becoming friends and you've seen them all.

It takes a good deal to make animes like overlord and kingdom that get viewers drooling for the next season to drop but hearing another gundam 'something' just gets me looking at the next listed item.

Well, that is an expectation. Please no kill Ainz yet o. Normally, animes flow with the making of heroes, let's watch that of a super villain once in a while.

I enjoyed Aldnoah zero season 1 but season 2 was really dry and lackluster. Also did anyone notice that the show is an absolute ripoff of code geass.

It's just the creator's style. The ending was about moving on.
Watch Your Name (same creator) it has a happier ending.

Yeah. despite what people say, there is a lot of good dubbed anime out there. The main stigma behind dub was because back then when anime was not that popular in the west, people didn't care much about it which resulted in people doing half-ass jobs when it comes to dubbing. but now we have some amazing people offering their talented voices like Yuri Lowenthal(The Voice of spiderman in the latest PS4 spiderman game), Kira buckland and Cherami Leigh(voices of 2B and A2, Nier Automata), johnny Yong Bosch etc.

Fun fact: when one of the disney executives saw Miyazaki Movies, he loved them so much that he decided to help bring them to western audiences, with big stars like Mark Hamill, Jean Simmons, Christian Bale etc.

i'm not suprised about boruto. Studio Pierrot hasn't been known for producing good dubs anyway. Some of the anime i really enjoyed in dub include Cowboy bebop, fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, baccano, the disastrous life of saiki k, hinamatsuri, FLCL, fate unlimited bladeworks and my hero academia

Contractors are people with supernatural powers who are used by various government agencies for espionage and they are those who fail to become dolls. Heaven's gate was not really explained that happened before the series stated but it was there Hei lost his sister Bai. You are going to make up some explanation yourself

Well the story itself is complicated it left a lot of things unsettled so we have more questions than answers. Dolls are first contractor the process to becoming a doll is not explained but I believe that dolls are better at controlling their powers as they do not need to pay a price like contractors but they sacrifice their emotions for it. I think they are not as many as contractors
