Governor Obaseki is the best thing to have ever happened to Edo State politically speaking even though he is more of an administrator/ a very serious minded CEO who knew what he was coming into leadership to address.

Oppositions and even the non-partisans like me can barely fault him. A governor that understands what management and being at the helms of affairs means.

Nigerians really need to keep an eye on this man.

He has got a good head on his shoulders. If Edo State had the allocation Delta State gets...forget it.

Much respect to the governor.

no it is not. The people in Edo state call the governor 'WAKE AND SEE' because if how he works. You just wake up and something that has been a problem for years has been approved and done. Edo state increased minimum wage to 25k and everybody that had salaries owed them by previous government has been paid and now no one is delayed pay. Obaseki doesn't talk or make make noise or politicize anything he does. He just does his job and when election comes, I can promise you that he won't need to campaign because his productivity speaks for him.

no it isn't. This man is the only performing Governor in Nigeria. You don't see him play dirty politics like the rest and he just does what needs to be done without anyone asking.

politics talk.... don't believe until is implemented
not politics talk. Ask anyone living in Edo state. The state has never seen progress until this man came into power. He doesn't take bullshit from people that are meant to do certain jobs and don't carry out tasks. Since he came into office almost all bad roads have been re constructed, we had light issues with the BEDC, this man walked the BEDC woman out if his office and told her point blank he wants nothing to do with her since she has decided to put the people in suffering which they don't deserve Even though she had to go to Abuja and got someone to tie his hands, minimum wage of 25k is paid every Month to workers in the 26th day. The people here call him wake and see because of how he works. If he says he won't come back, Edo people will go to his house and drag him back to office because under him, edo has progressed.

Wow, Edo state govt has been performing magic o, when most states are paying less than the minimum wage, they are still owing, Edo state that is paying higher, they are not owing.

25% minimum wage in Edo State is a big scam!
A Grade Level 16 officer in Edo State receives N174,000 a month whereas in Rivers State, his counterparts earn twice that amount even with N18,000 minimum wage.
Oshiomhole used his cunning scheme to scam workers.
We hope Obaseki would correct this anomaly promptly.
NLC please help to stop this scam!
