This is bad signal for atiku and PDP and the earlier they u derstand this the better, this has show how bad market are PDP a d it's candidate in the zone and if the governors decided on this, I think they've the reason if considering 16 years of PDP Misrule in Nigeria despite the fact that they've the opportunity to develop the zone

Nobody Should Place our Pictures Side by Side with Atiku in Billboard – S’East Govs

There is serious trouble within the camp of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the south East ahead of the 2019 general elections, Igbere TV has learned.

According to reports just coming into our newsroom, governors elected on the platform of PDP in South-East zone have resolved to adopt what they called “a cautious support” for the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

An impeccable source close to one of the three PDP governors told Igbere TV on condition of anonymity that “even before the meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari as part of the members of the National Economic Council (NEC), the governors agreed to take a middle course in the forthcoming presidential election.”

The source added: “Part of the resolution of the governors is that they should not make financial commitment to presidential campaign of Atiku/Obi. They also agreed to ensure that there was no joint campaign promotional, especially billboards in their respective states.”

Igbere TV recalls that there has been tension within the party since Atiku announced ex Governor Peter Obi as his running mate, reportedly without due consultation with the PDP south East governors.

There is no vibrant political legacy in SE.

The governors in a region are the political sentries, in their wisdom they bring in good and if they see something disadvantageous looming, they keep bad out. Governors are not know to shy away from rocking the boat.

With this new revelation that a geo-political region is not identifying itself with democratic principles is astonishing. SE Governors are resigning their region and future to fate. In other words they are saying they don't like Buhari and will not support him but in same breath that they do not have the political numbers and bloc strength, either independently or in alliance with SS to unseat Buhari and replace with Atiku.

So how do they hope to get rest of the country behind them for 2023?

With these announcement the prospects of 2023 for an Ibo presidency in any form or shape has just been dumped in the thrash can.

Ibo surrenders!
