The day I started respecting Mr. Obaseki was when my brother got a job in the state civil service without knowing anybody. He just did recruitment exams and interview and he passed. My brother was given appointment a week later. This happened despite the fact that my brother didn't know anybody in this administration. I really think this man is a technocrat, not a politician. We need men like him in our government.

no it is not. The people in Edo state call the governor 'WAKE AND SEE' because if how he works. You just wake up and something that has been a problem for years has been approved and done. Edo state increased minimum wage to 25k and everybody that had salaries owed them by previous government has been paid and now no one is delayed pay. Obaseki doesn't talk or make make noise or politicize anything he does. He just does his job and when election comes, I can promise you that he won't need to campaign because his productivity speaks for him.
My dear, I have always been wondering where the heck he has been all these while. Irrespective of the fact that ekpoma is known as a PDP state, this man is systematically turning ekpoma around. He's engaging in mass road rehabilitation and reconstruction. Ekpoma is gradually wearing a new face. Thanks Mr Amiable governor!!!!

we need more selfless men like him. No one has done as much as he has done especially in recent years. They re just all about themselves. It is a pity.

Quite unfortunate for us in Kwara State.. Our own government doesn't even pay the old N18,000 Minimum, not to talk of paying 20k or 25k. OND certificate holder in Kwara is 21k.. while a graduate is 32k.. very pathetic

politics talk.... don't believe until is implemented
Edo State has been paying 25k since the twilight of Oshiomhole govt. Edo is the 5th self sustainable state in Nigeria, with a viable IGR.

God bless you Obaseki. please put back Edo City transport on the road or replace with yours because that's what is helping the masses especially those going to Delta since Okowa has sold Delta line and put the money inside his account. We are waiting, thank you.

not politics talk. Ask anyone living in Edo state. The state has never seen progress until this man came into power. He doesn't take bullshit from people that are meant to do certain jobs and don't carry out tasks. Since he came into office almost all bad roads have been re constructed, we had light issues with the BEDC, this man walked the BEDC woman out if his office and told her point blank he wants nothing to do with her since she has decided to put the people in suffering which they don't deserve Even though she had to go to Abuja and got someone to tie his hands, minimum wage of 25k is paid every Month to workers in the 26th day. The people here call him wake and see because of how he works. If he says he won't come back, Edo people will go to his house and drag him back to office because under him, edo has progressed.
that good to hear or know
