Mehn!!! I totally respect you. The prejudiced ones will find themselves in court or jail so it’s okay. I only hope it doesn’t make Canada close their doors. Any news from Accra? Are you on the WhatsApp group? Zutlin: |

SkyWalk12:Yes I'm on the Whatsapp group. You were in the group so you must know me - you just can't marry my monicker to my Whatsapp name. ![]() I'm still waiting for AVO. I pray I get PPR early January, else I may have to redo medicals. |
| Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Nobody: 3:46pm On Dec 23, 2018 |
Hehehe. I pray you don’t have to redo medicals. God will find a way. Are you in IP2? Has AVO freed others? I truly thought they’d opened their doors with mine. Zutlin: |

I doubt you need to file taxes but while you’re there, pop into one of those settlement centres to confirm. rainazoe: |

rainazoe:You become tax resident from when you first established residency in Canada. So technicaly, you became eligible to file income taxes from June when you landed. In 2019, you'll have to declare your worldwide income (both earned in Canada and Nigeria) from June (when you became a PR), however, due to the double taxation agreement between Nigeria and Canada, you would not have to pay taxes on income already subject to tax in Nigeria, but you must still file returns. This response does not cover child benefits though, i don't know how that works. |

cutezain:Congratulations . This is what you call a system that works. This is the quality of life many Nigerians are seeking for. Keep pushing and the best is yet to come. |

Zutlin:You think people would be honest on the test ? Also a lot of whites hate black people and end up running and winning the presidency or the highest office. Some here are not worse than the evil oyibo people we live amongst. But good thing we have mechanism to suppress their hate. |

Zutlin:The exact same thing I told a Kenyan colleague last month. So anti LGBTQIA. I advised her to go back to Kenya and practice holiness with the rest of her holy Kenyans. I will never get it. Leave the damn country. Many Africans have asked me why I have "forgotten" my values because I refuse to join "teamholierthanthou". So shallow minded. I swear I learn more when I am not surrounded by my own people. The stupid Kenyan girl was busy preaching holiness meanwhile she is shacking up with a man that hasn't paid her bride price. I asked her how she was better than them in the eyes of God. It's annoying because it is the so called Christians that are anti LGBTQIA but are busy "commiting" their own "small" sin left right and centre. You live in their country. Accept them or GTFO of their country Hypocrites |
| Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Nobody: 10:30pm On Dec 23, 2018 |
People only want you to sin the way they are sinning. You own must not be different. Very very narrow minded and a first world country like Canada is not for them. JennyKadry2: |

Interesting! Please, any idea on how to go about filing tax returns from Nigeria? I did a short landing in July 2018 and will only return to settle in Canada in June 2019. I understand improper filing of taxes can affect one’s citizenship application/approval. behati: |

Sir May God bless you. You completely spoke my mind. Why do some men feel the need to skip verse 21 of Eph 5 and jump to verse 22 as if 21 is not part of the scriptures, The hypocrisy of it all. I had to pause my reading and reply your post. Your wife is a lucky Lady, God continue to bless your marriage, Amen. Ndukaezennia1: |

Sure I came very late, got carried away by celebrating my last Christmas (for now) with family before I travel. But that comment was so "spot on" I just had to acknowledge it. DadR: |
