It's true that the system can never be perfect as long as it's man made, but that number is much. The affected banks and interswitch can do better.

We are in the same shoe though mine is 22k. I transferred from sterling to access my sterling was debited while the money is yet to reflect in my access account.

I wish customers can really understand the working mechanism of transfer transactions. Its a pity many who call themselves literate still showcase illiteracy and some people dont know how to channel their cases the right way. The one that annoys me most js those who come to social media to make complaints as if social media will resolve their issues instantly.

Fight your battles the right way and things will go smooth

cry
Please what is the right way of channelling such complaints oo? I really need to know.

Merry Christmas to you and your entire family. May the Joy of this season bring you God's goodness, peace, and all the best things of God in Jesus name. Amen.

From all of us at QSS.

Anyways to the tread. First bank frustrated my enemies yesterday.

First bought fuel at the station and opted to pay using pos, transaction declined. Had to drop my phone at the station, transported to a first bank branch to use a counter cheque after all the ATM machines had declined payment
Only for the annoying customer care rep to tell me my signature was irregular.

Hmm I felt like squeezing them withy bare hand. Thank God the BSM ordered them to attend to me otherwise hell would have let loosed.

I missed two business opportunities yesterday, all thanks first bank.

Oh good. You know some of these Banks don't reply emails on time, cc lines don't go thru atimes. Most customers don't have the patience to continue trying the same avenue hence the rantings and calling out on social media for quick solutions to problems.

They better refund all the money to those in concern

Most of our systems in Nigeria r absolutely a failure. A failed transaction I did using POS machine on the 6th of December with my access bank ATM card in which my account was debited. Could you believe it was not reversed n I lodge a complain n as i speak to you I don't understand what my bank is even saying. Our money is not save in most of this Nigerian banks.

They still want to use customers money to balance their account thereby deceiving current and prospective investors into believing they are performing very well Abi.Despite numerous charges like inter bank, ATM production and maintenance fees, SMS fees, atm withdraw fees e.t.c.
Those things are not failed transactions o, imagine waiting for 15days for refund, and this happens mostly from 14th day of every month.Thereby making our monies available for account balancing every month and more importantly the annual one.
Of the banks I use ACCESS BANK is worst.
This is where EFCC should flex their muscles and investigate the supposed failed transactions.
Or is this not an economic crime?

most banks put their top management lines at branches for complaints. Avail yourself of that.

las las na wait for 15 working days for refund.

Merry Christmas to all nairalanders.

True talk bro

Same way I only use my Access bank ATM card in Access bank ATMs only. I get that reassurance that my money will be reversed in less than 10 seconds should there be a failed transaction cool

25% is really poor. Service providers need to be charged to court, I wonder how embarrassed those customers worried be some left stranded.
You yawn for cashless economy but can’t deliver all atm machines would also be out of cash and no one would say a thing. Poor service management all round.

First bank is on another level of failure. You can't carry out any transaction via the app for almost two weeks.
That bank is becoming shitty day by day with the poorest customer service in the industry.A credit transaction on Friday to a family member for Xmas was credited late yesterday. And that was after sending so many messages on all their social media platforms.I later resigned to faith after seeing so. many related cases.
Longest time bro and Merry Xmas to you.

Their customer service is zero. Utterly useless. You complain today, expect a reply after 3-5 days. Unfortunately for me that's my salary account and I'm not allowed to change it.

Merry Christmas Biko.
