Then comes Christmas morning morning ,we iron out Christmas clothes with this, can't wait to get back from the church for the rice and chicken
For those who are wondering what sort of iron this is, it's a coal iron. Because we hardly ever had electricity in the village, we use the coal iron to press our clothes.

Charcoal is prepared and broken into small pieces. The lid of the iron is opened and the charcoal is used to fill up the space in the iron. That done, the heat from the charcoal is transferred to the base of the iron and then you do your thing.

Sounds like stress right? Truth is that nothing was stress during those Christmas holidays in the village. It was fun all the way.

Ndigbo mma ma nu.

Op well done. Nice memories.

Lest I forget, stop over on the way to the east was at Umunede, it is while returning to Lagos that the stop over is done at Ore.

When your fathers were dying of kwashiorkor during the war, there was an urgent need for nutrition for starving Igbos. To ensure emergency supply of nutrients, their diets were modified.

Palm oil was added to garri for igbos to eat and dry stock fish was imported from Norway.

Your fathers ate palm oil garri so that they won't die off like fireworks and you're talking nonsense about palm oil that saved your ancestors.
You're a moronic person.

South west has the highest number of stunted kids in Nigeria.

I thought you were narrating how you spent your yesteryear Xmas in the Eastern part of the country when I sighted the Onitsha bridge until I started seeing the roofs/structures from the Western region.

Thanks for snubbing Nwosu of such a tribal question.

You have done the very excellent work in photo-serial-analyses I have ever seen, on this thread. Quite ingenious of you bro.

Every Nigerian can relate to those picture series. Bravo.
