Onyemadonald:It is social media, son... Nigerian social media simply reflect the current I.Q of most of the subscribers... It is all demand and supply! Platforms that tried to toe the path of civility, and purely intelligent contents died due to poor traffic. Same thing is happening to our entertainment (especially music) industry... The overall demand for trash and low-intelligence contents is way higher than that for mature and high intelligent contents... Compare traffic and comments on gossip/semi-nude threads to that on threads promoting/showcasing technological advancement, successful living, etc...
