silly talk is there any nigeria municipal laws , or electoral laws that says a presidential candidate must visit the us? if there is so why did buhari not visit the us for over 12years? till after he became president
You are missing the point. Firstly, we don't want a thief as the president of Nigeria.
Secondly, Atiku has been indicted for a crime in the U.S
Thirdly, if Atiku wants to convince us he is not a thief, why wouldn't he just visit the US to clear his good name.

And we are saying he should go and clear his name before we vote him as president otherwise, he should forget about his fantasy of being the president of my great country Nigeria.

He is a party to a crime of fraud and money laundering in the US. The details of this can be found here:

That is a US government website.

"From 2000 to 2008, Jennifer Douglas, a U.S. citizen and the
fourth wife of Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President and former candidate for President of
Nigeria, helped her husband bring over $40 million in suspect funds into the United States
through wire transfers sent by offshore corporations to U.S. bank accounts."

Can you even read? Perhaps you can't process and comprehend what you read. Why don't you remind me again what the topic is about?

good you posted it here. now answer the following
1 did you noticed the word suspect in your post ? what does that imply in law?
2 who owns the "suspect" $40m
a. nigeria
b. us?
3 if a how is it the duty of us to prosecute a nigeria citizen that stole nigeria money?
4 did you even read that he was a presidential hopeful in your post? ie in pdp and then apc(aspirant) right ? so when was this resort made by the us? yesterday? was atiku not in apc all this while? so why is it coming up now

Hehehehe, there are many things you don't understand about international financial transactions. Yes, Atiku can be prosecuted even if was the legitimate owner of the money which I doubt seriously because if he was the legitimate owner, he wouldn't need to hide it through offshore companies.
You are right, these are all allegations and that is why we need him to clear his name.
To your last question, these issues are coming out because Atiku wants to become the next president of Nigeria and given the history of our country, we can't afford to have a corrupt individual in that position ever again.

MIND you i've nothing to do with atiku (check my name to see where i belong) what i'm saying is this your fight against corruption must be done within the laws of nigeria and must be holistic

If we relied on the laws of Nigeria alone then people like Ibori and Alamieyeseigha would've escaped justice. And one by one whether in Nigeria or USA or UK we should join hands to send them to jail.
Our collective future is more important than the greed of any individual.

and your buhari is not corrupt ? remind us how his son bought his bike, tell me how his lack of a basic requirement for elective post is not a form of corruption you see corruption my brother, is very vast what you term as corrupt maybe nothing to others. even in advanced democracies they still have corruption issues. even in the us. but then we have to decide, shouting go to us all the time makes us a funny country

Maybe he is, just like I produced the link to the US problem with Atiku, you can start by exposing Buhari's crimes as well. Don't just make baseless accusations, give us something concrete to go with.

as an african the way i see it is you do not keep a goat and yam and expect it not to eat that yam. how do we develope a system that stops people to lay hands on public funds. like dealing with beneficiaries of government directly? doing away with the middlemen? no one is corrupt until public funds enter his/her hands. then you will start hearing logistic grammer by the time its over. the government will be saying " we sent money" and the people will be saying "na lie we no see any money". now we have two truths from two sources. and the middlemen are busy with public money. and government is busy with other things. and the people are suffering

We can start by coming to the realization that a goat cannot be relied upon to safeguard the barn where we keep our yams.
A thief will not safeguard the treasury.

we are not even saying extradite him , we are simply asking : WHAT STOPPED NIGERIA GOV TO PROSECUTE HIM HERE IF THEY HAVE ANYTHING ON HIM? WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING ON THE USA?
The money might be from "legitimate deals" in Nigeria but it was laundered in USA.

Deepthoughts:
Did you people ask for this online evidence before accepting to be paid to stage a mockery of a protest at the US embassy?
Those who participated in the protest were dumb. If it was sponsored, those that sponsored it were dumb too. My stance is simple from the past to the present: Atiku should just show us his evidence of applying for USA visa, that is enough for reasonable people like me.

I believe the US embassy will readily oblige you if you can just take time off to approach them for clarification,ok.

But the US itself hasn't said so,if Atiku had/is a wanted person in the US, the government there would have long declared him such n could easily have been arrested in any of the US allied countries Atiku has been visiting since like the UK,but it's so amazing that out of hate you people are crying more than the bereaved.
