A lot of people have wasted a lot of good cash in the hands of fraudulent guys calling themselves breeders.

let me tell you the simple truth! A lot of you just love to be scammed. what stops you from asking questions before any transaction? why haven't you done some background checkups?

you rush into the hands of scammers confidently and soon you'll be shouting foul!

Stop acting like a child (or are you one already), what are the steps or the guidelines in avoiding being scammed, that's the purpose of the topic you created?

let's look at some of the steps and measures to take:

1. ask them if they are recognized by the kennel club/association in their state.(This is one of the most important point.

2. Ask them of their social media profile

3. Look out for the someone who has idea and is well grounded in the things of dogs.

EVERY GOOD BREEDER OUGHT TO BE A MEMBER OF A KENNEL CLUB OR ASSOCIATION.

MAKE SURE YOU ASK IF HE IS A MEMBER OF ONE.- THIS WILL HELP SECURE YOUR TRANSACTIONS. IF THE TRANSACTION FAILS, THE CLUB WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE AND WILL DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO PRESERVE IT'S IMAGE.

I CAN RECALL AN INCIDENT THAT TOOK PLACE IN JOS, THE GUY WAS GIVEN SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM THEIR INITIAL DEAL. LUCKILY FOR THE GUY, THE SAID BREEDER WAS A MEMBER OF JOS BREEDERS ASSOCIATION. THE GUY HAD TO CONTACT THE CLUB AND THE SITUATION WAS ARRESTED AND THE GUY WAS SETTLED. THE CLUB DID THAT TO PROTECT HER IMAGE.

most breeders (not all) Don't disclose details and aren't patient enough to discuss with a potential buyer sometimes you may tagged as broke or called names if you ask so many questions. most won't even talk to you after purchase (follow up) hence the reason to look out for groups or select ones that patiently answers all your questions

Anyone who can't give you his social media username (Facebook/instagram etc) and can't tell the kennel club/association he or she belongs to....that person sounds suspicious.
