• Aguata Traditional Rulers Endorse him

The Vice-Presidential candidate of the PDP, Mr. Peter Obi said that Nigeria needed now was a team with a firm understanding of global economic realities to plan the re-engineering of the country along those realities. Obi was speaking yesterday at Isuofia in the House of Chief Ozomma Uba during the stakeholders meeting of Aguata people.

Obi who said his visit was by accident, as he had merely come to see a friend, assured that Atiku/ Obi candidacy has the requisite knowledge to turn the economy around, create jobs and tackle unemployment, which, according to him, is the roots of many crimes in the country.

Speaking during the event, the Managing Director of Pokobros Nig Ltd and a renowned industrialist, Chief Paul Okonkwo said that the election of Atiku and Obi would mark the beginning of Nigeria's economic rebirth, going by their antecedent of wealth- creation and sound management of resources.

Recalling Obi's tenure as the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Okonkwo said: " Obi's era marked the awakening of industrialization in The state. As an industrialist, we interacted with him on regular basis, he understood what the sector needed and gave it 100% support. We are optimistic that he will do more for Nigeria if he eventually becomes the Vice President."

The highlight of the event was his endorsement by 13 traditional rulers from Aguata that were present. They jointly prayed for him and assured him that Anambra traditional rulers and indeed all lovers of progress who are concerned with Nigeria's economic recovery are interested in Atiku/Obi Presidency.

Other prominent stakeholders from Aguata who were present includes: Chief Godwin Okafor, the MD of Winco Foam; Chief Uche Obiakor, Chief Patrick Ifionu2; Chief Emma Nwafor, among others

Yes o.

We need people who knows how to manage an economy. Not this one step forward, twenty steps backward that we've been doing.

We need to stop spending money on subsides in the petroleium, education, and power sectors, fight corruption, take loans for power, rail and roads, and use them well, and spend more money on technical education.

Investors would flow in, and Nigeria go better.

Nigeria also needs restructuring and overhauling, it's high time everyone believed nothing can work with this current system that favors some set of people at the expense of others. Democracy or this system of government might be working somewhere else but not in Nigeria, we need a local system we can develop ourselves which will solve our problems and the best bet to that is restructuring, no amount of election will solve it cos minority of sane minds will only have a say while majority that are inclined to bigotry, tribalism and insanity will always have their way.....

Atiku, Peter Obi, & Gang spent scarce Forex to travel all the way to Dubai and spent time engaging in "strategic sessions" and months later still unable to produce any radical alternative functional solutions targeting specific problems.

How then can anybody trust the same group of people to reengineer Nigerian economy?

Not when you have Atiku who spent fortune securing PDP ticket, Saraki who has lamented lack of access to the treasury even as Senate President, Ben Murray Bruce that is owing several banks, and several other free money-loving PDP honchos who are looking forward to the return of "good old days".

Nigerians should be Tech focused come 2019 to be able to avert so many troubles. It's appalling how appointments are given to the wrong people in the country while even the dead are appointed for positions, we have to understand it's not about APC or PDP but whom we hand over affairs of the nation.
