The tallest building in Nigeria currently under construction in Uyo has reached its 14th floor december 2018.
The building is due for opening in may 2019, it is expected to be the first smart leed building in this part of Africa and will house major commercial concers in tha state.

When transcorp hilton in Abuja was built in the 80s it was in the bush with no access roads google it.
Today the storey is different. That hotel has attracted a lot of other developments there.

FYI Uyo Cental business district has good network of roads and has a lot of banks and businesses there. There is no more land for sale there.

That building is owned by Akwa ibom state government. It is built for commercial lease.

ALL The industries that use to give excuses that there is no adequate accomodation in the state will not use that excuse anymore.
Mobil exxon and all the oil service companies operating in the state but headquatered outside the state can now relocate and lease space for their office in Uyo,
Our own ibom airline can rent a floor or two for their headquaters.
And all the new budding industrial concerns in the state can do same.

Badbelle people. This building is built by proffessionals from turkey where there is expertise on this kind of structures. The same engineers built the 12 floor four points by sheraton in Ikot ekpene.

You think a local contractor can be certified to build a smart green certified leed building. Google what it takes to certify a building LEED, green and smart.

This Office building will be the first of such building in this part of Africa.

The glass facade that will cover the entire building will be solar panels. Building will generate its own energy.
Will not require connection to power grid.
