Infrastructure is very critical to Nigerias growth Power Ramains a huge challenge however now that the federal government has revamped the delta rail line connecting kogi state, the federal government should revamp the delta steel industry plus Ajaokuta steel and build an independent power plant to power these asset to grow the GDP |

somehow:God forbid, in the USA, Buhari can not even be allowed to contest for least political position.. The man is too out of reality. Like Buhari counted security as part of his achievement.. Hahahaha. Since civil war, we have not lost the number of security personnels we lost just this year alone.. |

kolaaderin:Oga, PDP built these infrastructures from the scratch. Did you read that the rail line was originally built for freight? Jonathan stuck to the original plan, but Buhari quickly ran and commissioned it for campaign purposes. We all saw how the PH terminal has not been opened up for use cos Buhari's government quickly commissioned it for campaign. The more APC commissions these projects, the more they are telling Nigeria that the past PDP government (especially Jonathan's government) tried to move Nigeria forward infrastructurally. |

This particular rail line had been completed long before Jonathan sef. It was not put into use because the primary reason why it was initiated was for freight between Ajaokuta steel plant and Warri plant and seaport. Buhari's government decided to turn it to passenger rail, which isn't a bad thing actually. The only thing this government is having to do is building rail stations. Kaduna to Abuja rail line was finished before Jonathan handed over. Buhari only had to complete the rail stations. Abuja metro rail was also nearly finished before handover. PH and Abuja International terminals were completely paid for before handover. If you went to Abuja Airport as at 2015, you would have seen the new Abuja terminal already being constructed. If Jonathan had remained in power, he would have commissioned these projects except for this Itakpe - Aladja rail line, mainly because PDP decided to stick to the original plan for that rail line, and since Ajaokuta plant hasn't come to life, the rail line remains useless (based on it's original purpose). kolaaderin:You didn't have pictures during Jonathan's government cos he didn't run a government of propaganda. APC runs a government of propaganda, and that's why they would commission a new terminal that wasn't even ready just for political campaign purposes. Even this rail line commissioning is also simply for campaign purposes, otherwise you ask yourself how many passengers commute between Aladja and Itakpe for this rail line to have been a priority? Why the rail line links 2 unpopular towns is because it's not originally for passenger purposes. If it was, it would have been built to link 2 popular and highly populated towns or cities (just like the Abuja - Kaduna standard gauge built by Jonathan or the Lagos - Ibadan standard gauge being built by Buhari). |
