They say their country's educational systems is corrupt and the racism there's too much

Please, how true is this?
Corrupt than your country? Please apply and don't let anybody discourage you. There is racism in practically all the countries listed, but you know what u will achieve at the end of it all.

pls am really confused. i was told recently after completing the application process of the bea scholarship that i wont be able to write it based on residence, but on origin. i am from a Amambra state staying in lagos, but i put in for Ibadan, will i be permitted to write it there. been trying to change it, its not working.
Re: Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Awards - 2019/2020 by AAA124: 10:42am On Dec 30, 2018
But I heard that the certificate are screened one after the other for the PG and each has its own marks. I believe even if one doesn't have a certificate then the mark for that particular certificate will not be scored. This goes inline with the NYSC cert issue. I think if I'm going by the comments in this trend then the mark for the NYSC cert will not be recorded but other cert will be scored.
Pls I need participants from last year exams and interview to pls shed more light on this. Thank you

please when I was registering I missed a number in my next of kin. please any help.
You can still edit SOME entries and SAVE after you have submit application.

Enesantos:
Can I apply for BEA and National Award(NA) together?
Negative. You cannot pick two options in one application and two separate applications equates to double entry which could disqualify your application.

What I understand from the previous processes is that your class of degree is scored with 50% while the test itself (50 questions for PG) takes the other 50%. Since we will go through assessment of the documents before the test, this could imply that incomplete documentation will affect approval to proceed.

This part also got me confused since the form says "preferred location" but also from previous processes many have suggested it's per geo-zone of your state of origin.

If there's no red asterisk it means it's not compulsory. However, it might not be compulsory and still be necessary. I left the part about research topic blank because I am interested in coursework, someone else might decide to fill it even when s/he is going for masters.

Please did anyone know if we are going to be notified of the dates for the screening? They just stated Jan 15th - 19th. No specific date for each center

it is mainly mandatory for PhD students, Masters may or may decide not to include it, including it for a masters programme will increase your chances of getting it but it isn't compulsory except for PhD candidates.

It is not compulsory to submit it online since it isn't asterick. Before the exam date you can get that ready.

I have registered for it, but after reading the conditions I discovered I am not eligible. I am 23 years, my WAEC IS 2016 own. should I still sit for the exam?

If you are already in a Nigerian university and your course is nice then I don't think you need to apply for this scholarship. You're very young
Elektra1177:
Hey guys. I had 5A's and 4 B's in WAEC. I'll be 18 in April, 2019. Sad thing is I sorta finished school early so my WAEC is dated 2016. Do I still stand a chance? I'm really interested in this scholarship.

Please I have three questions to ask. (1) I choose Delta State as my exam centre and there are several jamb cbt centres in Asaba how do I know the particular one where the exam will be written?
(2) when is the date of the exam and how are we going to be informed about the examination date?
(3) I am still serving but will be concluding my service by March 2019 what will I do concerning the Nysc discharge certificate if the exam comes up before my passing out date? Thanks.

Note - (For all Applicants):

Since the BEA countries are non-English speaking, applicants should be prepared to undertake a mandatory one year foreign language of the country of choice which will be the standard medium of instruction; and
All applicants for Hungarian Scholarship must visit the website: www.stipenumhungaricum.hu before 15th January, 2019
Complete the application form online
Print the completed form and bring to the venue.

Please can anyone elaborate more and help on the bolded. Am finding it difficult to find the application form on the site in other to register. Thanks.

If you pick Hungary as one of the countries of interest for the scholarship you're directed to make an application on that portal, but check the spelling cos it should be stipendium hungaricum.

- Click on "application platform" somewhere in the body of the page,
- then on the left pane of the loaded page, click "become and applicant"

Proceed accordingly.
